An Inspired Chat with Helene Bergbauer of Sarasota

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Helene Bergbauer. Check out our conversation below.

Helene, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
I really enjoy time with family and friends enjoying our beautiful environment In Sarasota. The beach whenever possible morning or evening with swimming and walking. The weather is cooling off and it is a delight!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Helene Bergbauer and I am French. I grew up in Versailles and loves helping people. I became an esthetician and an educator in esthetics for 30 years.
I travelled a lot in France and abroad as I am fluent in English since childhood. I travelled through the United States of America and my friends asked me to give them facials and refer me. So I opened The Face of Paris 11 years ago and have grown a lot in the past 5 years as I reduced and stop my travelling. I am now assisted by one esthetician and a massage therapist. My niche is to have a customed facial for you and bring life back into your skin. I am also a massage therapist and practice Craniosacral Therapy, acupressure, reflexology.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
I worked for Parfums Givenchy in the 1990’s and one of my co-worker introduce me to my profession as an esthetician and educator. Another one of my co-worker gave me the opportunity to learn and execute the work for Carita Paris. I am most grateful for those two people in my life.

Do you remember a time someone truly listened to you?
My dad and mom always truly listened to me and so did my colleagues. I have been very blessed.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that I do not judge and I stand by my friends.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What will you regret not doing?
I have no regrets. I try to live my life as happy as can be and make the right choice with the situation. You have to make choices in life and no matter what they are I am always happy with the lesson I get from them.
