An Inspired Chat with Jasmine Jasper of Las Vegas

Jasmine Jasper shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Good morning Jasmine, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Outside of work, my greatest joy comes from being a mom to my 15-month-old son, AJ. Watching him grow, learn, and discover the world reminds me daily why I do what I do. Motherhood has brought a new kind of purpose and balance into my life. It’s taught me patience, gratitude, and how to find joy in the little moments. When I’m not at the studio, you’ll usually find me chasing AJ around, soaking up those laughs, or spending quiet family time that keeps me grounded and inspired.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Jasmine Jasper, and I’m the founder of ModLash Studio, a modern beauty brand based in Las Vegas that focuses on luxury eyelash extensions, education, and empowerment. I started ModLash from the ground up in 2020 with just a small suite and a big vision. Creating a space where beauty professionals could grow, clients could feel confident, and artistry could thrive.
What makes ModLash Studio special is that it’s more than just a salon. It’s a lifestyle and a community. Our focus is on providing a modern luxury experience while also mentoring and educating the next generation of beauty professionals through our classes and training programs.
Right now, I’m expanding ModLash into a full brand experience. We offer VIP membership programs, online and in person education, and branded lash products. I’m so excited to announce our new partnerships with Modwella Wellness Concierge and Optimum Adventure Group! Together, we’re elevating ModLash Studio by blending modern beauty and wellness with the Modwella partnership. Also expanding our education platform with Optimum Adventure Group to teach financial literacy, business credit, and entrepreneurship to beauty professionals. Look out for our webinar on our YouTube channel “From Lash Artist to Lashpreneur”.
This collaboration brings the perfect balance of beauty, wellness, and business growth — empowering the next generation of beauty entrepreneurs. With the long-term goal of growing into a franchise model. My journey as a new mom and entrepreneur has shaped every part of what my brand is evolving into; it’s a reminder that you can build something beautiful from the ground up with passion, persistence, and purpose.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
The person who saw me clearly before I saw myself is my older sister, Lavinia. She’s always been the one to believe in me, even in the moments when I doubted myself. I’ve always been a little shy and sometimes struggled with feeling good enough, but Lavinia has always spoken confidence and power into me. She made me feel like I could do anything I set my mind to — even before I believed it myself. That’s why it was so important for me to have her by my side when I gave natural water birth to my son. I needed people in the room who made me feel strong, capable, and unstoppable — and she’s always been that person for me.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could say one thing to my younger self, I’d tell her to stop doubting her power. Everything you dream about is already yours. You just have to believe you’re worthy of it. The things that scare you most are usually the things that will grow you the most. Keep showing up, even when it feels impossible. One day, you’ll look around and realize you built everything you once prayed for

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would probably say that what really matters to me is growth. Both personal and professional. I care deeply about becoming the best version of myself and helping others do the same. Whether it’s through my business, being a mom, or just how I show up for the people I love. I value loyalty, purpose, and perseverance. I want to see everyone around me win. I believe in pouring into others the same way I’ve been poured into, because success means more when it’s shared.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
If I knew I only had ten years left, I’d stop overthinking and trying to make everything perfect. I’d stop worrying about timelines, outcomes, or who understands my vision or what it even looks like to others. I’d focus more on being present. Soaking in moments with my son, laughing with my family, traveling, and creating memories that matter. I’d still build and create, but I’d do it with more peace, more joy, and less pressure or stress. I’d focus on making sure my son would be set without me financially, physically and mentally.
