We’re looking forward to introducing you to Jenna D’Annunzio. Check out our conversation below.
Hi Jenna, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What is a normal day like for you right now?
Mom Mode in FULL force anywhere between 6-8:50am. Three beautiful, BUSY, children! Lunch making, preparing for the day, sipping coffee, and getting them off to school etc.
9-3pm I am fully immersed in business owner mode, ebbing and flowing between working IN my business as a holistic business and mindset coach, and working ON it as I build out processes, expand my network, write content and working on program development!
3-6p MOM mode again! These 3 wonderful wildlings are all arts of their crafts and have sports 4-5 days a week! I become a glorified, yet happy, Uber driver, carting each babe to and from dance, lacrosse, Odyssey of the Mind and all the after school clubs.
6-9 is usually a mixture of tying up loose business ends, a pick up somewhere or other and tending to the house. Dishes, dinner, laundry etc.
Sprinkled in the day is always music, a dance party here and there, with more coffee, collaboration, creativity and laughter!
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am is a holistic business and mindset coach who teaches high-achieving leaders and entrepreneurs how to merge strategy, self-awareness, and energetic mastery. I have a keen empathetic self, intuitive insight and am none for my no-fluff approach, which allows me to really connect with my clients on a personal level as well. I blend emotional mastery, intuitive strategy, and personal development to help my clients elevate their impact and create sustainable, aligned growth, that feels fully in alignment with who they are and what they want!
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
Wow, what a great question. I’ve been giving this question a lot of self-reflection actually, as we leave the Year of the Snake, and enter the Year of the House. Growing up in a very broken household, I held onto anything and anyone that gave me love and attention, creating the People-Pleasing Peacemaker. Throughout the years, I’ve recognized how often I gave into others’ thoughts and opinions of me, really struggling to not allow their stories and perceptions of me take root in my mind. Intellectually knowing and experientially knowing are two very different things.
The part of me that kept the peace, stayed small, or made myself palatable for the comfort of others has completed her job. People grow, and not always in the same direction. Life stages shift, values evolve, priorities change. Sometimes the person you are becoming simply doesn’t align with the person they are becoming. This doesn’t mean the relationship failed just that it served its chapter. I now get to reclaim MY voice, MY needs, and MY presence.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
This almost feels easy because I have truly learned so much from people and experiences as a whole, and the people and experiences that show you how not to be often become the most valuable teachers because they create a level of clarity that I truly believe cannot be ignored! For me, they revealed the patterns, behaviors, and environments that drained me, diminished me or disconnected me from clarity understanding who I truly am and what I truly want out of this beautiful life. And in doing so, I believe its these lessons that sharpen our awareness of what we will tolerate, honor, protect, and choose going forward.
They’re mirrors, sometimes uncomfortable, sometimes heartbreaking, but they reflect the exact edges of our growth. They teach us the power of setting healthy boundaries. They teach us self-respect and instill self-worth. They teach us discernment. They teach us the difference between the life we are settling for and the life (and business!) we are meant to build.
And for me, the contrast is what awakened me.
Sometimes we learn who we are by becoming it;
other times, we learn by experiencing everything we’re not.
They can oftentimes feel like detours, yet I have chosen to see them now as direction. The “never again” moments become the catalyst for elevated standards, aligned decisions, and a more embodied version of yourself!
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
I can confidently say that, YES! The public version of me is the real me. I believe that who we are anywhere is who we are everywhere and bringing that philosophy into everything and anything I do. Being raised by my father, who is also the founder of our company, I am lucky enough to admit that the life success production principles we teach is a life philosophy I was raised in, providing a what you see is what you get kind of vibe!
I am loud, loyal, can turn anything into a song, a natural caretaker archetype and my mission is to make everyone, no matter what context, feel love and supported and equipped with tools and tips to build a life and business they love.
Who we are anywhere is who we are everywhere – okay so what does that mean? The patterns driving our behaviors don’t stay in one part of your life — they follow you into all of them. The way you think, respond, communicate, set boundaries, handle stress, celebrate wins, or avoid discomfort show up in our relationships, our work, our leadership, our parenting, our health, and even the way we speak to ourselves.
If you over function at work, you likely over function at home.
If you struggle to ask for help in your business, you probably struggle to receive support personally.
If you minimize your needs in one relationship, you’re likely minimizing them everywhere.
This phrase highlights a universal truth:
your internal world shapes your external experiences, and the version of you that shows up in one area is a reflection of deeper beliefs, habits, and identity patterns.
The gift in this awareness is that growth in one area elevates all areas.
When you build self-trust, set healthier boundaries, deepen your emotional awareness, or choose alignment—those shifts ripple out into every role you play.
It’s not about perfection. It’s about integration, integrity, congruence, and becoming the version of yourself who doesn’t compartmentalize growth but embodies it.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. When do you feel most at peace?
This is a tough one! I find so much peace nose deep in a book, or on the beach soaking up the sun while listening to the crashing waves and the laughter of my kids playing in the background.
