An Inspired Chat with Jordan Glover of Spartanburg

Jordan, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What are you chasing, and what would happen if you stopped?
Self-sustainability is what we are chasing! We come from a time where we are taught to work for someone, or that following a trend will get us somewhere. Honestly, forging your own path is the best way, and we haven’t stopped because no matter what it takes, no matter how lon,g that goal will come true for us very soon!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Greetings, my name is Jordan Glover, and I am married to a lady by the name of Princess Glover, and together we formed a media company by the name of Ten13 Media House. We have gone through a few different phases, but we are content creators to the core. We have now transitioned into streaming and internet radio, but we started as podcasters who have turned that into a brand recognizable by just the logo. Our radio show airs every Tuesday on Delorean Radio, and it is named “Heir’s Lair.” We stream on Twitch & YouTube (@ten13mediahouse) and kick (@heirjordan91).

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
The relationship currently, before my wife, I didn’t feel as confident to take on the world as I do now. She showed me how much I contribute as well as how much I can actually control. Self-worth used to be a struggle, but now I see it clearly.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
As an artist’s manager, I didn’t put the same effort into my own endeavors and focused more on pushing my client toward success. I quickly realized that success isn’t a solo sport and if one is succeeding then we all should be. i almost gave up my own dream but then i was quickly shown that i cant give up on my dreams to help others achieve theirs.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
The public version of me is mostly the real me. Being in the space of content and media, I have to keep a. few things behind a “pay wall,” but for the most part, I give my true thoughts and feelings.

If I retired tomorrow, my customers would miss my intensity. I love what I do, and I showcase my passion when I fire up the cameras.
