We’re looking forward to introducing you to Lady Vasiliki Mitchell. Check out our conversation below.

Lady Vasiliki, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
I am a part of a Woman’s Conference, The Pink Event that takes place on October 25, 2025. I have sent out nominations for myself for an award for being a Creative, an Artist. I was nominated for two awards and received one. This makes me very proud of myself. Assuring me that I am moving in the right direction pertaining to my art career.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Lady Vasiliki Mitchell. I am a self- taught Contemporary Artist, born and raised in Washington, DC with upbringing by way of Prince George’s County Maryland. Lady’s environment has always been the fruit of her inspiration. Having a strong passion for life, she would take in every opportunity given to her. Lady Vasiliki grew up singing, acting, and playing instruments. Growing up, she was always hands on creating with paint, crayons, pens, and pencils. Always seeing things in color, dressing in colors, and doodling, you could never have told Lady in a million years that her life would full circle back to becoming an artist.
I am a Gallery Artist, Grant Award Winner, Featured Exhibitor, Sneaker Semi-Finalist in a sneaker competition, and all-around Great Visionary Artist. I have been on a slew of art shows up to date and have been published in 4 magazines for press. I have just been approved for my 5th magazine edition set for the end of this year. I continuously admit myself into the art world and apply for various submissions with the focus of getting my artwork out to the world!

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
My relationship with my grandmother has most definitely changed my outlook on life. I am highly confident and believe that I can accomplish anything that I set my mind to. I have accomplished quite a few achievements in my art career and will continue to flourish.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
The sky is never the limit for you. You are destined for greatness so live in your truth!

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I am committed to my art career! I am determined to make myself a household name and produce art that intrigues the world. No matter how long this will take I am focus- driven to make this reality!

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
Life is about You! The ability to wake up every day and have the set determination for how and who you want to be. If you say that you look and feel good, be a vessel and spread that throughout the day. You will notice the power that you possess and become a beacon of light. If you allow someone’s negativity affect you then how much control do you really have over your own life. Just my thoughts, we often get upset instead of confused which allows people to spin in unresolved situations. The real emotion has not been allowed to the surface which causes multiple uncertainty. I allow myself the intrigue of confusion to open questions and talk to resolve. I am always going to pull on a positive outcome because I push my brain there instead of giving up easily and not knowing. I understand that I have the power to change how I look at things and possibly change the projection.
