An Inspired Chat with Lakithia Jones of New York

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Lakithia Jones . Check out our conversation below.

Hi Lakithia, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
I’m most proud of building two life-changing initiatives that reflect my heart for transformation: Kingdom Glow Academy™ and Redemptive Love — Forgotten by Man, Chosen by God.

Kingdom Glow Academy™ is a space where people can heal from the inside out — emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and physically. It restores confidence and identity so individuals can walk boldly in who they were truly created to be.

Redemptive Love reaches men and women behind walls — reminding them that they are still seen, still chosen, and still full of purpose. It’s pure service, bringing empowerment and dignity to those society often overlooks.

What makes me most proud is the courage it took to build both of these before anyone else could see the vision. I stepped out in faith, not for applause, but for impact. These initiatives are transforming lives quietly and deeply — and that’s the legacy I’m honored to build.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m LaKithia Nicole — an author, speaker, and founder with one core mission: transformation.

Everything I create — my personal brand, my book, and Kingdom Glow Academy™ — is designed to help people transform from the inside out. Not just to feel better, but to become better, evolving into who they were truly created to be.

My new book, The Power of Partnering with God, is a bold and transparent story of transformation — showing how surrendering to God’s plan can turn breaking points into breakthrough moments. It’s for anyone who knows there is more to life than what they’ve been settling for.

Kingdom Glow Academy™ is where transformation becomes a lifestyle. Women discover clarity, emotional strength, spiritual alignment, and the confidence to walk boldly in purpose. The “glow” isn’t just physical — it’s a renewal of identity, hope, and destiny.

I don’t just speak about transformation — I’ve lived it. I help others rise because I know what it takes to rebuild, believe again, and walk boldly into their calling. If you’re ready to move from surviving to thriving… welcome to the transformation movement.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
As a child, I always believed I could do anything — that I was meant for greatness. I grew up surrounded by love, possibility, and confidence, so I never questioned whether my life had purpose. I just knew it did.

In the past five years, that belief has deepened into something even more powerful: transformation is the assignment. Greatness isn’t just about what I can achieve — it’s about who God is shaping me to become and who I’m called to impact along the way.

My relationship with God has matured. The revelation is deeper. I now understand that the real victory is not in potential — it’s in becoming. My belief has shifted from “I can be great” to “I’m called to transform lives,” starting from the inside out.

That growth is the heart of my journey.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
I’ve never been the kind of woman who gives up — not on life, not on myself, and not on what God has called me to do. But there was a season where I realized that being strong in my own strength wasn’t enough.

It wasn’t about wanting to quit — it was about recognizing that I couldn’t carry purpose alone. I didn’t need to stop… I needed to surrender. I needed to stop pushing forward in my own will and allow God to lead, guide, and empower me in a deeper way.

That moment didn’t break me — it matured me.
It awakened me to a stronger walk with God, a deeper dependence on Him, and a clearer understanding that success without surrender is strain.

I didn’t almost give up.
I just learned how to rise differently.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say what matters to me most is seeing people transform into who they were created to be. I care deeply about purpose — not just success. I want people to experience wholeness, confidence, joy, and a real relationship with God that elevates every part of their lives.

I believe in showing up with love, with excellence, and with integrity. Whether I’m writing, speaking, or leading Kingdom Glow Academy™, my heartbeat is the same — to help people become the best version of themselves from the inside out.

I’m passionate about seeing others win. Not just on the outside — but in their mind, their spirit, and their identity. Transformation isn’t what I do… it’s who I am called to be for others.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
When I am no longer here, I hope people say that their life changed because our paths crossed. That I reminded them of who they really are — loved, chosen, and capable of becoming their best self.

I want to be remembered as someone who didn’t just speak about transformation, but someone who activated transformation in others. Someone who helped people heal, rise, and walk boldly in the purpose God placed inside them.

If the story they tell is that they found confidence again…
that they found faith again…
that they found themselves again…

Then I’ve fulfilled my assignment.
