An Inspired Chat with Musa Andrews of Lehigh Avenue

Hi Musa, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: When was the last time you felt true joy?
I would say between the ages of 14 to 16 is when I felt true Joy.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Hiro but my real name is Musa Andrews and I do a plethora of things like drawing, script writing, songwriting you name it. What makes my brands stand out is that they are mainly true DIY creations. Most times I have absolutely no help with anything even when I need it so I just end up experimenting with things I don’t really know about like animation and graphic design and once upon a time music and film, so the end result usually ends up being really sloppy, just simplistic or both

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I was care free and would do just whatever I wanted, to be front. I lived in my imagination and stayed there for the most part, I just did the barminimum in reality. Now I’ve been told I need to be more, do more and have all these high standards for myself that people want for me.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
The time I almost gave was a couple of weeks, I can’t go any deeper it’s too weird but what I will tell you is that I think some set of people are actively working against me, there has been some stalking and harassment going on but I won’t go no further then that.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What’s a cultural value you protect at all costs?
I protect freedom of everything, because I’m an anarchist I dont choose no sides on either spectrum, I dont like religion or any type of belief of some form of authority or control. If it came down to it I would give up everything just to have true independence.

That I did everything

Went through hell just to entertain people.

I was an ambivert.

I don’t like being human

Food is to die for cuz I can’t get enough.

I love too much violence in movies or where ever.
