An Inspired Chat with Oskar Sax

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Oskar Sax. Check out our conversation below.

Good morning Oskar, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? Who are you learning from right now?
Right now, I’m learning a lot from my friends — people who have taught me so much about business and how to achieve things with a clear mind and the right focus.
They’ve helped me understand that success isn’t just about talent or passion, but also about strategy, patience, and making smart decisions.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Oskar, I’m an international saxophonist and live performer, and the creator of Oskar Sax and Angels — a unique show that blends live saxophone, DJ energy, and professional dancers to create an unforgettable experience.
What makes my project special is the way it connects elegance and emotion with pure entertainment. Every performance is a mix of music, rhythm, and visual art designed to make people feel alive.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege to perform in incredible places across Europe, the U.S., and the Middle East, collaborating with major brands like MotoGP (Ducati), Moët & Chandon, and Dom Pérignon.
Right now, I’m focused on expanding my show worldwide, creating new visual concepts, and continuing to share my passion through music and live experiences that truly move people.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
A moment that really shaped how I see the world was when I decided to take my music beyond borders and start performing internationally.
Traveling, meeting people from different cultures, and sharing my music with audiences who don’t even speak the same language showed me how powerful art can be — it connects us on a level that words can’t.
It also taught me that success isn’t about where you come from, but about how much heart and consistency you put into what you love.
Every stage, every crowd, every new country has helped me grow not just as an artist, but as a person.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes, there were definitely moments when I felt close to giving up — especially in the early years, when things didn’t move as fast as I hoped and the uncertainty was constant.
But every time I thought about stopping, I remembered why I started. Music isn’t just my job — it’s my purpose. It’s what makes me feel alive and what connects me to people everywhere I go.
Those difficult times actually gave me more strength and clarity. They taught me patience, discipline, and the importance of believing in your own path, even when no one else sees it yet.
Now, looking back, I realize those moments were necessary — they shaped who I am as an artist and as a person.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
The public version of me is definitely real — it’s a part of who I am — but it’s not everything.
On stage, I show the most expressive, passionate side of myself. That energy, confidence, and connection with the audience are 100% genuine.
But off stage, I’m much more reflective and grounded. I enjoy simple things, quiet moments, and being around people I trust.
The stage is where I give everything; my personal life is where I recharge and stay true to myself.
So yes, the public version is real — it’s just one side of a person who lives and breathes music.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people say that I made them feel something real — that through my music and performances, they experienced joy, passion, and connection.
I’d love to be remembered as someone who lived fully through art, who gave energy and love to every crowd, and who turned moments into emotions.
Beyond the shows, I hope people remember the person — not just the artist — someone who believed in dreams, worked hard, stayed kind, and always shared light through music.
