An Inspired Chat with Travis Grace

We recently had the chance to connect with Travis Grace and have shared our conversation below.

Travis, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
Myself along with 2 other investors/partners have created a 100 channel system on Roku called the 18th Ave Media Group. We have the capability of reaching over 100 countries. Its a system that helps grow independent brands.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am a 4 time Billboard Charting Artist/Producer. I am the CEO of the global brand Tribe Life Studios. And my newest business venture have allowed me to invest in my own television network along with two other investors/partner. We are very excited and look forward to helping independent artist and business owners grow their brand.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
I give a lot of credit to my dad who always gave me the inspiration to believe in myself and think outside the box. He would always tell me that it was alright to be different and not follow the crowd.

What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
In 2019 was a eye opener for me as my health start to rapidly decline for no reason. I had just returned from London and a week later I lost movement on my left side for several months due to a spinal issue that was undetected by doctors. Thru prayer and self rehab God put it all back together which gave me clarity, understanding, and a closer relationship with Him.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Im generally the same person everyday. Whether on its interviews, business, family, or friends im the same person. Being authentic is very important to me because it set a standard from me that people come to know and expect. “What you see, is what you get” everytime!

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. When do you feel most at peace?
I do extensive traveling but my peace is found at home. Due to technology a lot of business can be handled from my home office or studio. Its a great pleasure to be able to handle business and daily schedule all from home which cht down travel time and leave maximum time for family.
