Hi Victor M., thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Something that bringing me joy lately is watching old films. Films from when I was a kid. To films that I haven’t seen before. From there I study the movie, I kook for what I like or didn’t like and figure out why.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Victor M Frausto I am an Artist, Actor, and Awesome. I also do Stand-up comedy, I’ve done live theater with Independent shakespeare company. And done couple commercials. I am also working with other creatives in making short films.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who taught you the most about work?
My parents taught me to always do your best. No matter what it is, do your best and if you can do better. And I still do. And in the process be a good person mean well and do well.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
There has been couple time I wanted to give up in my acting career. Do to not booking jobs. Not having an opportunity to show my work. But I need to remind myself why am in this career. I watch old films that inspired me. I continue to audition and eventually I get booked. This is a long term career. I am not doing it for the money or the fame. I’m doing this for my artistic needs.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
It may sound cheese but I would say Kal-el also known as Clark Kent or Superman. Many people admire him for his power. I admire him for always doing the right thing. Always doing right by all people. He could rule and conquer as a God. But he doesn’t. He sees himself like a regular person, doing the right thing even when no one is looking.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
Of course I do. I do that everyday. I do it to prove myself that I can.
