The answer to whether you are walking or wandering often changes from season to season – life is fickle in that way. We asked some of the folks we most admire to reflect on whether they feel like they are walking or wandering and have shared some of their responses below.

I’m walking a path…. I currently have cancer and was diagnosed last year. I say I am on a path because I’m juggling being a wife, a mother, a friend, and a Boss! I take all of these jobs seriously and with love. I have found that I am on a path for true enlightenment and also learning grace. Read More>>

Wandering is a part of my identity. When I first came to the U.S. as a young adult, I was simply curious about the world and wanted to experience everything. I didn’t have a clear path or one true calling to follow. My interests have evolved over the years, and I adapt as I go. You could say that I’m always wandering. Read More>>

I’m going to break the rules here and say both and neither. I’m definitely not walking an existing path, but I also feel a directional pull that keeps me from saying I’m wandering. I would say I’m forging my own path and I always have been. As a queer and neurodivergent person, I think walking a path has never really been an option for me. Read More>>

I wonder sometimes about the difference between walking a path or wandering. If we hit a detour and don’t know where to go, we start to wander. If we wander and see a path that interests us, we walk down it. Read More>>

I love this question. I am walking a path but in my walk, I am wandering. My walk on this path of entreprenuership is still new and it requires me to wander into unfamiliar areas and learn from them. Read More>>

I believe I’m walking a path now. I wandered for a long time, being involved in too many organizations and not feeling a whole lot of joy in the work; it felt like a job. I decided about two years ago to narrow my focus, and that has brought me joy that I hope exudes through all aspects of my life. Read More>>

Yes, I am very much walking a path. My Reiki path including its precepts guides me to not hold onto anger and worry, to be grateful for everything, to be true to my path and myself, to be compassionate to myself and all others. Read More>>
