We recently had the chance to connect with Craig Sotkovsky and have shared our conversation below.
Craig, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What do you think others are secretly struggling with—but never say?
Identity. Most people have a fear of what others will say about their choices and decisions. Therefore they hold themselves back from becoming themselves. People feed fear, time. It’s a struggle I see almost daily with my mentees and clients.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi. My name is Craig Sotkovsky. I’m
An author, entrepreneur and human behaviorist.
My greatest battle was overcoming 9/11 World Trade Center lung cancer. That wore me and my family down for almost 13 years.
I now show people how to become the best version of themselves through the Quantum Field and Epigenetic’s.
Im currently working on my second book.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who taught you the most about work?
My father taught me about work ethic when I was a five year old kid. I was helping him a bunch of times unloading his truck in businesses in the 5 Boros and New Jersey. He was a teamster and he taught me about being on time and anything can happen even with your best laid out plans. Today his lessons have become invaluable for my continued growth as an entrepreneur in 2025
What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
As I was battling the surgeries for lung cancer it was the emotional wounds more so than the extremely painful physical wounds, that held my attention. There was a time I was a seven figure earner and while I battled cancer I couldn’t even pay my light bill. And eventually went bankrupt That humbled me to my core. I had to find a way to develop a new way of thinking. So I did. I learned to alchemize everything in my life and turned all the self imposed misery into
My super power. I learned to take the emotional attachment away from all the stories and circumstances at the time that were holding me back from pursuing a much bigger life. I took my pain and made it my life’s purpose to help others.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
Absolutely. I don’t show the highlight reels. I show the grit of standing back up again. I know who I am. Most people can’t contend with their failures. I share mine so others can learn from them and grow. I’m not afraid of being corrected, embarrassed or humiliated. I’m free to be me. I encourage people to become uniquely themselves. Your life changes on a dime when you realize people aren’t paying attention anyway.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
I’ve gotten to live in different cultures on this Volcanic Meatball and the greatest thing I’ve learned is that we are all similar. We all want better for our families, kids, friends. The one thing I can say is that I have realized through all my ups and downs is that Nobody Laughs or Cries in a different language. I think most of the world’s problems would be solved if the masses understood this. We let pride and ego get the best of us. Sadly it’s our downfall. We have to learn to communicate better and be nicer to things we don’t understand.
