Deborah Rinehart DACM, L.A.c, RN shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Hi Deborah, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
One of the things that is most misunderstood about my business is that so many people don’t realize how acupuncture can help them in everyday life.
The number one reason people seek acupuncture is pain-related. But, it can also help with fertility issues, hormone imbalances, perimenopause and menopause symptoms, stress management, and natural skin care options with cosmetic facial acupuncture.
As a safe and non-invasive treatment, acupuncture is an excellent choice for those looking for natural health solutions.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello, I am Dr. Deborah Rinehart, a board-certified and licensed acupuncturist offering both aesthetic and traditional acupuncture in Wexford, a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
I provide a safe and effective option for beauty and wellness, while educating the community about the many health benefits of acupuncture and Chinese medicine. By delivering patient-centered care, I guide you through the healing process, empowering you to take charge of your own healing journey.
At Willow Tree Acupuncture & Wellness, we offer a unique approach that focuses on holistic health and beauty treatments that elevate your appearance and improve overall well-being—inspired by the ancient wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Our transformative services include microneedling and cosmetic facial acupuncture, women’s health, and traditional acupuncture.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
A girl growing up on a farm in Ohio, playing with ponies and riding horses.
I loved being outside, climbing trees, and playing in the snow.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Don’t be so hard on yourself and play more.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
My daughter makes me proud for the compassionate woman she has become and for the kindness she offers to the world and her community. She is a genuine human being who cares deeply about the people around her.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
Working. I would be more adventurous, explore more, and stop trying so hard to be successful. I hope I would just be present here.
