My self-discipline was born from challenge. Self-discipline in itself comes with incredible difficulty. But, the difficulties themselves are what motivates, maintains and pushes that self-discipline muscle. Coming from a immigrant family, there was constant witnessing of challenge and change in my environment and circumstances. But it also came from witnessing my parent’s dedication and focus within all that change. We had to be ready at any point to settle in and move again. Read more>>

Discipline is one of the hardest things I would say it is to have in life but definitely in business. Discipline can also make or break you in business; it’s all about creating healthy habits and remembering why you started. It’s not only about remembering your why it’s also about how bad do you want it? How bad do you want to succeed, how bad do you want the life and career you desire? Read more>>

Coming from an immigrant family, I was always taught to be disciplined with my chores and money. I started being an entrepreneur about the age of 9 when I sold lemons from our lemon tree. Then I began to create cute hamdmade baskets for Easter and then Christmas decorations. My dad would SELL OUT of my creations at work. So I always knew how to hustle and I have always been creative. As a content creator I focus on fashion, fitness, and lifestyle. Being a woman who was once 350 pounds, my decision to lose weight wasn’t influenced by societal pressures or low self-esteem. The desire for me to change my life was due to uncomfortableness. While in a heavier body I was not able to maneuver in the way I wanted to. Clothing didn’t quite fit the way I wanted it to. My self-discipline comes from my heart, from my need to grow and become someone I am proud of. It is not easy, by any means, there are plenty of days when I wake up and feel tired and not good but that is when I ground into what my heart wants. Self-discipline for me is a daily practice. It is making the conscious choice to keep going after your goals and dreams on the days that are hard, the days you don’t feel like it. Read more>>

My self-discipline started at an early age, partially because I am a bit of a perfectionist. When I reflect back it is difficult to say exactly at what age my discipline started, but definitely developed through my schooling. I always stayed inside the lines and I had to draw a thick outline and shade in the middle when I would color. Read more>>

My self discipline comes from sport. I’ve been an athlete my entire life, competing for my country Great Britain, from the age of 14 in track and field and later bobsledding. Sport installed discipline in me that has carried over to my career today. From that young age I was juggling school work, training 5 times a week and competing at weekends. I needed to be disciplined to succeed in all these areas whilst also having a social life and family time. I had training programs to follow, set training times after school and targets and goals to meet. Read more>>

Honestly, trial and error have taught me self-discipline. I run a business full-time, work a full-time job, and I am pursuing my last terminal degree. This was honestly the busiest time in my life, and I was feeling extremely overwhelmed. I had to step back and understand that each thing I contribute is vital in my life. In addition, I recognized that I needed to get everything organized. I am creating self-discipline as a business owner to ensure that content gets created and orders get fulfilled. Read more>>

I learned from my parents, school, and fitness how to set SMART goals, to stay motivated, to be persistent, and to have self-control. When I was about 12 years old, I starting loosing motivation in school; especially in subjects that didn’t interest me. It stemmed from a lack of direct parental support being that my parents were always working. It wasn’t until my grade in history had fallen to a D that my father took time off work to come up to my school and speak with my teacher. That was the first and last time he had to do that for me. It took a few years and some spiritual guidance, but I eventually realized that my parents were doing the best they could. Read more>>

Growing up an only child I always felt like I had a certain responsibility to sacrifice the same way my parents sacrificed for me. For me to be here, for me to do the things I want to do in life, they had to take on a certain level of risk and undergo sacrifices. In order for me to pay it forward and make them proud, I have to be focused and stick to the road no matter how hard it gets. I am not only trying to achieve my goals for myself, I’m trying to reach them for my dad, my mom, and those that aren’t here anymore. I want to pay back everything they did for me to be in this position. Read more>>
