Dominique, it’s so good to be connecting again, this time to discuss one of your favorite books. So – let’s jump right in, can you tell us about T.R.I.B.E – what should our readers know about this book?
T.R.I.B.E is a unique coloring book that combines creativity with education. Each beautifully illustrated page highlights and explains how massage therapy enhances overall well-being. Along with informational tools, consumers will.be able to color pictures depicting the psychological and physiological benefits of the healing arts field. It’s important for readers to know massage is muscle awareness, supporting stress Alleviation for greater enhancement.

Wonderful, so can you talk to us in more detail about why this book resonates with you?
Coloring can be a therapeutic and meditative activity, allowing the therapist to de-stress and engage in mindfulness, much like how they encourage clients to relax during massage sessions. Secondly, therapists might use the book to educate clients about the areas of the body being worked on, explaining how specific muscles relate to their pain or discomfort.

After reading the book, if you had to boil it down to one key take-away, what would it be?
As a licensed massage practitioner, I would have to massage therapy as the art of healing through touch where compassion meets connection to nurture the mind, body, soul, and spirit. Each massage is supposed to be a unique blend of care and expertise tailored to the client’s well-being.

Do you disagree with any of the messages from this book?
No, I don’t disagree with the message because massage therapy is more than just relaxation. An unknown author described massage therapy perfectly when they said, “touch the body, heal the mind, and calm the spirit.”
