Fernanda Vaca’s Stories, Lessons & Insights

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Fernanda Vaca. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Fernanda, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: Who are you learning from right now?
I’m currently learning from a leader in International Cooperation Projects, a Colombian named Wil. Through Academia Propulsa, we’re becoming Certified Propellers in International Fundraising for Sustainable Women’s Empowerment Projects, with a special focus on nature and its conservation.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi everyone! My name is Fernanda Vaca/Ahimsa Radharani Sat Nam, and I’d like to share a bit about my work and my passion, which revolve around well-being and peace.

My journey began with my legal training, a profession that taught me the importance of justice, fairness, and conflict resolution. However, throughout my career, I realized that true peace isn’t found only in laws, but also in emotional well-being and human connection. This realization led me to found Samy Munay, a collective of female entrepreneurs in mental health.

At Samy Munay, we’ve created a space where a culture of peace is the foundation of everything we do. We don’t just offer organic products and holistic therapies; we also promote a lifestyle based on mutual support, empathy, and emotional healing. Our brand is unique because each member of the collective brings her own wisdom and story of resilience, turning every product and service into an act of love and empowerment.

Currently, I’m working on an exciting new chapter: the creation of the EcoWarmi Kawsay foundation. This project brings together my two passions: my legal background (through the foundation’s legal structure) and holistic well-being. Its name, which means “Ecological woman who lives with success” in Quechua, represents our mission to connect mental health with environmental sustainability. We aim to show that by healing ourselves, we also heal the Earth, and that a full life is possible when we live in harmony with ourselves and with our planet.

Ultimately, my work is a journey from legal justice to inner peace. Through Samy Munay and now EcoWarmi Kawsay, my goal is to empower women to find their own well-being and, at the same time, contribute to a more peaceful and sustainable world.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I am exactly who I was before the world told me who I was supposed to be.

The path of a lawyer, while honorable, can often mold a person to fit into a predefined role. It’s a world of structures, logic, and arguments. However, my essence—that of a person who seeks inner peace and a connection with nature—was always there. That is who I am.

What the world asked me to be gave me the tools and discipline to build. My firm, **Socialaw Legal Assistance**, which is about to celebrate its first year, is the result of that structure. But who I have always been gave me the vision and the passion to create. **Samy Munay** and now **EcoWarmi Kawsay** are not deviations from my path; they are the manifestation of my true self. They are proof that by honoring our essence, we can build something that is not only professional but also deeply personal and meaningful.

Is there something you miss that no one else knows about?
I miss my grandmothers very much, and it’s a permanent feeling.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
I would stop thinking about the long-term future.
