Purpose didn’t arrive in my life as a clear plan—it emerged through healing, faith, and experience. My husband Danny and I often say that the work we do today grew out of some of the hardest seasons of our own lives. Early in our marriage, we walked through challenges that many couples quietly face but rarely talk about openly. Read More>>

Purpose suggests that our existence is not random. Rather, there is an intentionality to our existence as well as everything that exists within us and around us. I believe that purpose is something that reveals itself gradually through life experiences. For me, it has always been connected with creativity, communication, and the desire to inspire people. Since childhood, I felt a strong emotional connection with music. Read More>>

I found my purpose through both struggle and compassion. Writing is my purest form of therapy. I was subjected to years of horrific trauma as a child, from infancy until I was almost eight. I was subjected to daily beatings, force fed disgusting slop, and supervised by a parent who was too drunk or high to do anything about it. This created significant mental issues for me at a young age. Read More>>

Finding purpose can be challenging but it doesn’t have to be. My approach was identifying the most fundamentally positive ways we enjoy life. Our lives are informed by nature.
