I found my purpose through family and love of people. Activism was an easy choice because I love people! Activism is all about loving your neighbor, and treating others how you would yourself. Would you struggle? Would you be without? Not ideally, so morally, you help your neighbor that is in that situation. From feeding those without homes, to giving clothes at goodwill. You’re an activist.  Read More>>

After years of working various jobs, completing several post-secondary degrees, and doing what I thought my purpose was, I still felt empty. I followed only the paths that led me to excitement. When I would talk about creating my nonprofit or even in my day-to-day when I decided I wanted a puppy, I always followed the rush of feelings within myself, that feeling of compulsion to run, to shout at the top of my lungs. The feeling you have when you jump from a tree. I decided to reach out my hand and grab what I wanted. Read More>>

I had a personal need for a healthy replacement for my daily sugar free Red Bull. For over five years, I consumed a can of sugar free Red Bull every day. I knew it was poison, but like the saying goes, the juice was worth the squeezing. Working in the restaurant industry, working the night shift meant my shift started when everyone else’s ended. I needed the caffeine to push through the late nights and long hours. Read More>>

In High School, I still didn’t speak English well enough to introduce myself or advocate for myself. Honestly, it took me a while, but I realized having a “purpose” in life was not what I wanted to spend my life figuring out. I’ve always had a passion for wanting to help people, but growing up in my family gym showed me just how many people’s lives could be touched. When you help someone fulfill their goals, it is so rewarding to be a part of their journey. I watched my dad train people for years, and now, I have been personal training for almost nine years. I love all of my clients, and it’s amazing to be a part of these people’s lives and watch them grow. I have been writing since I was in the second grade. I grew up learning how to type on a typewriter in my grandmother’s office when she worked for a software company in the 90s. I would sit and type away when I spent time with her in that office. That’s where I developed my love for writing stories. I began entering contests in elementary school and won some awards. I remember an author coming into my classroom one day to discuss what it was like to become an author and how I could be one, too. I was enthralled. Read More>>

Purpose is an interesting concept. Most people live their whole lives feeling like they never found their reason to exist without the realization that their existence WAS their purpose. I personally took the long road to figuring that out for myself. As a kid, I wanted to be an OBGYN. The idea of helping in the healthcare field and bringing in new life felt like a very purposeful objective. However, after my house fire in 2014 right before my 23rd birthday, my dreams of the medical field burned away with all of my possessions. I remember sitting in the car while the firefighters tended to my family home thinking, “I don’t know what my life is supposed to be about, but it must be pretty great if Satan was trying to take me out.” Read More>>

Honestly I found it by accident. I needed something to help me with the loss of my mom. My mom encouraged me that I could do anything I wanted. I decided to go ahead and get into beekeeping, I have always had the desire. I found the bees to be very calming and enjoyable; what I did not know is where they would lead me. My bee mentor is also a vendor at a local market and she pushed me right in! So crafting began and doing small markets. I realized I love doing the markets. I quickly learned vendors are like a tight knit family; like a quilt from old jeans, t-shirts, blankets and towels. We all do something we love and enjoy. I found I can be helpful to other vendors with tips and tricks I have learned from others or on my own. Read More>>
