We recently had the chance to connect with Gregory Kopp and have shared our conversation below.

Gregory, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What’s the most surprising thing you’ve learned about your customers?
My company’s clients, including small non-profit organizations and the world’s premier entertainment company’s energy and enthusiasm are infectious and translates to our exciting work relationships that are inspiring, fun, and ultimately successful for all involved. As a result, my company has been recognized with multiple business management consulting awards and praise from the business media.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My idea for a creative services business sprang from the internet technology boom which transformed our lives and continues now with the AI revolution sweeping around the world. My company’s clients, including the world’s premier entertainment company based in Los Angeles, where I am a Talent Ambassador, are part of the driving force behind my success. My company’s consulting support of these dreamers allows them to share their talents and gifts with the world – making it a better place!!

Success in this part of my life allowed my artistic and creative aspects to blossom resulting in my writing and publication of the exciting “Kopp Chronicles” series of historical fiction novels. This sweeping saga is based on my own immigrant American family’s life experiences along with historical royal and political figures spanning multiple continents, revolutionary upheavals, tragedy, and ultimate triumph!

I am proud to say the “Kopp Chronicles” series has enchanted readers worldwide with its romance, mystery, and action-packed thrilling elements and is now available in 5 different languages. These stories have been very warmly received and are also available in digital and/or paperback versions from bookstores including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Waterstones, Foyles, Hudson Booksellers, Books-A-Million, LA’s The Last Bookstore, and many more independent bookstores through Bookshop.org.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
I created Kopp Company with the help of my partner following a long line of entrepreneurs in my family. My family’s love and unwavering support have helped me on my successful journey. As an example, my father, a successful entrepreneur, spent the last several years of his life researching our family history without modern internet tools and publishing his results by hand. After his passing and with the success of my own business, I was inspired to utilize my creative talents and continue his research.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would explain to my younger self to be patient and utilize many of the creative resources which I discovered during the development and publishing of my sweeping 5-star “Kopp Chronicles” historical fiction series. Several publishing and marketing related resources including BookLife, a website from Publishers Weekly; an international news website for book publishing; helped me market my novels to a worldwide audience when my novels “First Lines” have been featured in its publications.

My Kopp Chronicles series of novels have also been nominated for Reader’s Choice Awards and received 5-star reviews in “Readers’ Favorite”, the fastest growing book review and award contest site on the Internet, respected by publishers Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster and Harper Collins. They have also received numerous “Cover of the Month” & “Book of the Day” Honors.

My latest novel “The Glamorous Nineties” has been warmly received and has also received 5-star reviews as it explores a world of unbridled wealth, that explodes into financial turmoil, transforming an era that still resonates today!

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
I discovered the same struggles faced by me and my readers in our ordinary lives, also shaped our immigrant ancestors along with notable historical royal and political figures. Their deeply personal stories inspired me to write the sweeping “Kopp Chronicles” which have intrigued readers worldwide allowing us to experience a shared sense of history intermingled with romance, mystery, and action-packed thrilling elements.

I am also especially proud that the State of California public library systems added the “Kopp Chronicles” novels to their collections for their patrons to enjoy. Library patrons can request these novels in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco, San Jose, San Diego, Sacramento, Riverside County, San Bernadino County and many more libraries. They can be downloaded through a variety of digital platforms including Overdrive/Libby, Hoopla digital, Bibliotheca Cloud Library, BorrowBox, Odilo and Axis360. In addition to California and thousands of United States public libraries, the “Kopp Chronicles” historical fiction novels are also available in Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Europe, Australia, and Hong Kong with more libraries acquiring the novels every day.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What are you doing today that won’t pay off for 7–10 years?
The next steps in my creative journey are to adapt my sweeping “Kopp Chronicles” historical romance fiction saga to film or TV, and I am looking forward to collaborating with creative minds to help achieve that vision. Along with the beautiful French spy and dashing Scotland Yard detective, my readers will enjoy their favorite historical figures and immigrant characters come to life. These characters face palace intrigue, revolutions, tragedy and ultimate triumph in this epic series and my readers look forward to seeing them in live action.

My company is also publishing my colleague and editor, Annette Czech Kopp’s, new fantasy series of novels “🐭 Adventures of the Miso Mice” – playful, whimsical stories of five very curious fantastical Miso Mice as they embark on their exciting quests travelling the Universe. These stories have been very warmly received and are also available in digital and/or paperback versions from bookstores including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Hudson Booksellers, Books-A-Million, LA’s The Last Bookstore, and many more independent bookstores through Bookshop.org. Both the Kopp Chronicles and Adventures of the Miso Mice are now available on Apple Audio Books.
