Some marriages last a year and others last decades – but from what we’ve seen, divorces are always difficult. It’s often disruptive emotionally, socially, financially and the emotional wounds can leave us less ready to take on challenges right when we need that strength the most. Divorce is a word that I never wanted to remember and talk about. It may be good for some and bad to others. For me, my life had been on a roller coaster during the divorce. I was lost, depressed, and heartbroken. I cried every night trying to figure out why the person I love and spent those years together could lie and cheated. Fortunately, I have my mom near my side who is not only helped me to look over my twins’ babies, but also supported me throughout those difficult times. To me, time was the key that helped me to forget the past. I kept myself on a busy schedule where I constantly working until I felt tired.
