How did you overcome Postpartum Depression?

In nearly every neighborhood in America there will be at least a few mothers who have experienced Postpartum Depression (PPD). Despite its prevalence and severity, it’s a topic that is rarely discussed. Postpartum Depression is like a raging ocean; the waves are sporadic, the water treacherous at times, and calm at others. With that being said, I overcame postpartum depression by realizing that I could not figure this out on my own. I needed help. I can remember being in a crying fit in my car, debating whether to end my life or not because I was baffled as to how I could feel so miserable and hate my situation, even though my husband and I tried so hard to get pregnant and were finally blessed with such a beautiful baby. This is an excellent question that is underrated and really deserves more attention. When my heart started to have issues a few months before my baby was born I really thought the world was against me. I went to Druski’s Dallas audition and could barely stand so I ended up going last which is a terrible look when you want to gain someone’s attention and show your confident.
