I keep it alive by pacing myself and learning to take breaks when I need it, and especially to avoid burn out.. There have been many times where I have suffered a writer’s block or an artist’s block. My strategy to overcome that is to take a break from it and focus on something else and come back to it later, especially when something inspiring around me pops up that gives me that drive. By staying alive lol but truly by living life. I draw most of my inspiration from my own experiences and adventures so the more memories I’m able to add into my brain’s database, the more creative fuel I get for my fire; it’s a symbiotic relationship. Read More>>

One of the things that I hate saying as I end a journey or a task is “I WISH” as I want to leave a journey or task behind with having done my best and not look behind saying “I wish”. Whether it is a long travel somewhere new or a project that I’ve received, I want to be able to perceive it from every possible angle and look at what I could take away from it in order to get the best outcome. With photography this is the same principle. Read More>>

Keeping my creativity alive and in flow is essential to my offering of inspiring others to live a spirited life. The principal way I do this is by deeply understanding and working with the meditations, rituals and perspectives that I offer to my clients, students and followers. Whilst I teach practices from varied traditions and origins, the way I teach them comes from a place of my own understanding and insights, from working with them and making them a cherished part of my personal practice. Creativity is a tricky thing. Differing from the traditional labor intensive and repetitive work, the creative workflow cannot be rushed. It is not as straightforward as shoving a cup of coffee down my throat in the morning and pledging to work extra hard. Creativity requires a great deal of inspiration, self-awareness, and self-reflection. Read More>>

I try getting inspiration from everywhere, not just other peoples work but like nature, animals, colors, media etc. I’ll take a concept and try to put my own spin on it and that really helps me come up with my own ideas. It’s actually a very common practice among creatives but it’s a really good way of getting yourself to step outside your comfort zone and try new things. Also traveling, being in a new environment and meeting new people helps too! Read More>>
