Jorgymar Pumar of Lebanon on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Jorgymar Pumar. Check out our conversation below.

Jorgymar, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
It is a good question; in my personal opinion, integrity is the foundation. If a person has high intelligence and high energy but low integrity, they can cause rapid, highly effective damage. With integrity, even moderate intelligence and energy can produce reliable, positive outcomes, but in order of importance for trust and impact: Integrity — determines direction and trustworthiness. Intelligence — determines judgment, and Energy — determines execution.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Jorgymar Pumar is a Venezuelan Attorney with over 20 years of legal experience in her home country, where she worked in both the court system and the oil industry.

She currently resides in the United States and is the founder of JP Migra Serv., LLC, a registered Indiana company that offers immigration document preparation services as a freelance paralegal. While she has a legal background, she is not licensed to practice law in the U.S. and does not provide legal advice.

Jorgymar is also the author of the book “SEGUIR ADELANTE…: Sin importar las circunstancias o las personas” (“Moving Forward… Regardless of Circumstances or People”), in which she shares her personal journey of overcoming a divorce and raising her two children alone. The book explores emotional healing, faith, and biblical tools that helped her rebuild her life.

She has been featured in interviews and podcasts, including an episode of “Alto Voltaje”, where she discusses in depth her personal growth and her desire to help others facing similar challenges.

You can follow her work on Instagram at @jpmigraserv, where she shares content on immigration, motivation, and personal development.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The part of me that I am ready to release is the version that believed I had to carry everything on my own with rigidity. That version served an important purpose: it gave me strength, discipline, and a resilience that allowed me to move forward during the most challenging moments of my life. Thanks to that mindset, I was able to open paths and create opportunities from scratch.

But I’ve learned that every situation we face comes with a purpose for growth, and that to continue evolving, I must allow flexibility to guide my steps. Rigidity once protected me, but flexibility is what now propels me toward new possibilities. Today, I let go of the need to control everything and embrace a more open, conscious, and purpose-driven mindset.

I truly believe that when one door closes, many windows open. And to see them, we must be willing to release what no longer serves us, adapt, flow, and trust.

Now I move forward with clarity, confidence, and flexibility—knowing that every ending is a transition into something better, and every challenge is an invitation to become a stronger, wiser, and more authentic version of myself.

What’s something you changed your mind about after failing hard?
There was a time I thought failure was the end of the road. Until I failed hard—and realized that every fall is actually an opportunity in disguise. I learned that making mistakes doesn’t define you, but giving up does. Since then, every stumble became a push forward, every error a lesson, and every failure a reason to keep moving with more strength and clarity. Now I know the important thing isn’t never falling—it’s always getting back up and continuing to build your path.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I’m committed to the idea of growing every single day—not just professionally, but as a person. I know it doesn’t happen overnight, and there will be moments of doubt and setbacks, but every small effort counts. No matter how long it takes, my biggest project is building a version of myself that inspires and leaves a positive impact on those around me.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. Are you tap dancing to work? Have you been that level of excited at any point in your career? If so, please tell us about those days.
Yes, there have been moments when I literally felt like dancing my way to work. I remember those days when a project I had dreamed about for months finally started to take off, and every email, every meeting, every small progress made me feel that all the effort was worth it. It was a mix of excitement, pride, and pure positive energy. Those days taught me that when you work on something you’re truly passionate about, getting up in the morning isn’t a chore… It’s a gift.
