We’re looking forward to introducing you to Amanda Gonzalez. Check out our conversation below.
Amanda , we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: Have you ever been glad you didn’t act fast?
Yes, although when things don’t go “my way” I feel super frustrated I have to calm down with the understanding that nothing is on our time but only on God’s. His time is the right time.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m someone who believes in the power of radical honesty. I’ve been through more than most people would feel comfortable sharing publicly, but I’ve learned that there’s incredible strength in vulnerability.
I create content that tackles the topics others are afraid to touch—the messy, uncomfortable, real parts of life that we’re often told to keep hidden. I share my trauma, my struggles, and the raw truth of my experiences not for sympathy, but to help others feel less alone in theirs.
What makes my story unique is that I’ve taken everything negative I’ve been through and transformed it into something positive. I refuse to let my past define me as a victim. Instead, I use it as fuel to speak up, break stigmas, and create conversations that matter.
If you’re tired of surface-level content and want something real, unfiltered, and unapologetically honest—you’re in the right place. I’m here to prove that our darkest moments can become our greatest sources of strength and connection.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
That I wasn’t loved because of who wasn’t there. That was never the case, I have always been loved , protected , and guided. If I would’ve been placed in the situation that I thought was “for me” I wouldn’t be as open as I am now to discuss with the world the truth of bravery
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
With content creating. I felt boring, misleading, and just not really getting the views I thought I deserved. I decided to change my outlook and share my experience rather than create a video
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, raw and uncut. As I like to say “ I’m blunt cause God rolled me that way “
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people remember me as someone who had the courage to break generational cycles and speak truth, even when it was painful. I want them to say, “She didn’t let what her parents put her through define her ending—she used it to rewrite her story and help others do the same.”
I hope my legacy is one of resilience, honesty, and proof that you can heal from family trauma and still choose love, growth, and authenticity. I want people to know that speaking up about what happened to me wasn’t about blame—it was about freedom, and maybe giving someone else permission to find theirs too.
