We’re looking forward to introducing you to Annie Latrice. Check out our conversation below.
Hi Annie, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: When was the last time you felt true joy?
Today! I feel joy every day that I wake up. I look at it, as another opportunity to 100% be myself, and enjoy this beautiful life that I have.
I am blessed to have a beautiful group of family and friends. They make life even more enjoyable.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am Annie Latrice. I am a Style Consultant and Clothing & Accessories Boutique owner. I am known for my unique approach to style and my belief that everyone can be stylish. My goal, is to make everyone (particularly women) feel confident enough to explore, develop, and rock their own personal style. My brand focuses on internal love, being shown on the outside.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I have always been Annie Latrice: The stylish, beautiful, confident, free person who loves God and music.
I have never felt the need to be anything, other than my true self.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering revealed the reality that perseverance is needed. There are many times, things will not come easy. There will be times, where things are uncomfortable or actually hurts. However, you have to make the decision, to move through it and get on the other side. This happens a lot in life. Therefore, I am grateful to have learned the art of “the fight.”
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Definitely! I take my true personality, in any space that I am in (personally and professionally). I actually believe, that it is my super power! I believe, people appreciate and connect to authenticity. Also, it would take more pretend, then to just naturally be.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope that that people say that any interaction that they had with me was positive. I hope that people speak about how they gained an elevated level of self confidence, by being around or knowing me. Most importantly, I hope that people would have seen a true example of God’s love, through my life.
