Good morning Candy, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Baking! I love being in the kitchen and using my hands to create things out of nothing. I think maybe that’s why I love it!
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am a luxury portrait photographer in Bucks County. I offer a full service studio including a hair & makeup artist that stays throughout the entire session, making sure each shot is absolutely perfect, before I even lift my camera.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who taught you the most about work?
My parents taught me work ethic. We grew up poor so we had to work for everything we had. That is why I feel like I do not take anything for granted.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Don’t worry about what other people think about you. As a young person, I always cared so much about what others thought. I never self reflected and asked myself if I truly loved myself. Now that I am older, I can honestly say that was such a waste of time. All those opinions I used to think mattered so much barely even register anymore!
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My family & my close friends are the most important things to me in life. Time spent with them is more important than anything else in the world.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
That I was able to make a difference in their lives. My hope is always to help the people I care about live better, and to be there for them in their everyday moments.
