Cordaro, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: Are you walking a path—or wandering?
I’m currently walking a path that is designed to biblically guide me to living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Cordaro Starlings is the founder and creative force behind Legacy Studios, a multifaceted media brand dedicated to storytelling through film, photography, and design. Based in West Columbia, South Carolina, Cordaro merges artistry with purpose, which results in the building of platforms that highlight creativity, faith, and community.

Legacy Studios stands out as a vibrant blend of cinematic production, podcasting, and brand visuals that empower creators and audiences to tell their stories with authenticity and style. From photography to writing to independent film/book projects, Cordaro’s work reflects a deep commitment to excellence and impact.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
As a child, I believed my faith was anchored in the concept of “free will”. To be more specific, I felt the ability to make my own choices had nothing to do with a higher power, when in reality, God orders my steps and the bible reinforces my faith.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
God gives us grace so make sure you give yourself some. God’s grace is given freely, is a source of salvation, is divine, is an expression of love, and is transformative. Your’s should be same.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
A belief I’m committed to is the life-long journey of finding salvation and eternal life through a relationship with God.

I feel most at peace when I’m at home because this is where my legacy begins. Though my company is an important aspect of my life and will be seen as a source of legacy to the customers, my family is the true source of legacy.
