Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Deejay Saint

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Deejay Saint. Check out our conversation below.

Good morning Deejay, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What is a normal day like for you right now?
Amazing

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Absolutely! My name is DEEJAY Saint, a creative storyteller behind the turntables. I specialize in curating high-energy, international music experiences that bring people together whether it’s a wedding, a concert, or a community event.
My brand is built on excellence, intentionality, and atmosphere. I don’t just play music I study the room, feel the energy, and create a vibe that people remember long after the night is over.
What makes my work unique is the blend of African, Caribbean, and global sounds with a modern touch. I love creating spaces where people feel seen, celebrated, and connected.
Right now, I’m working on expanding my brand through events, mixes, and creative collaborations that highlight culture, faith, and community. My goal is to inspire people, not just entertain them and that’s what keeps me passionate about what I do.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Honestly, I’m still rediscovering that version of myself… before expectations, before pressure, before life got loud. I’m learning to reconnect with who God designed me to be.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
I came close a few times, but I realized giving up would cost me more than pushing through.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
They’d say I value loyalty, peace, and purpose. I protect my circle and the things that matter.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
I’d stop stressing over things I can’t control and focus on the people and moments that matter.
