Franco Conquista shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Franco, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
What I’m most proud of building is the version of myself that people never get to see.
Everyone sees the photos, the energy, the confidence, but they don’t see the battles I’ve had to win in private just to show up as Franco.
I’ve built a quiet kind of strength, learning to start over after heartbreaks, pushing through the days I doubted myself, staying disciplined when nobody was watching, and choosing growth even when it hurt.
What I’m most proud of is that inner foundation, the self worth I rebuilt piece by piece, the resilience I had to create from nothing, and the heart I kept open even when life gave me reasons to close it.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Franco Conquista, a model, content creator, and contemporary dancer. My brand blends movement, aesthetics, and personal style, creating content that feels bold, expressive, and authentic. What sets my work apart is the way I combine artistry, storytelling, and physicality to create visuals that people feel, not just see.
Right now, I’m developing branded apparel concepts and building a course for aspiring creators to help them grow with intention and strategy.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The part of me that needs to be released is the version of myself that kept trying to prove my worth to people who couldn’t see it. For a long time I carried this pressure to be perfect, to over deliver, to hold everything together even when it wasn’t my responsibility. That mindset served me once, it pushed me, it made me disciplined, but now it only holds me back.
What I’m letting go of is the need for external validation. I’m choosing to move forward with a lighter, more grounded version of myself, one that creates, loves, and evolves without constantly trying to earn permission.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell my younger self, you don’t have to fight so hard to be loved. You’re already enough, exactly as you are. One day you’ll understand that your sensitivity, your passion, and your intensity aren’t flaws, they’re your gifts. Trust yourself more, be kinder to your heart, and know that everything you’re dreaming of is going to find its way to you.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What’s a belief you used to hold tightly but now think was naive or wrong?
I used to believe I had to constantly prove my worth to everyone around me.
With time I realized that was pure insecurity disguised as ambition. Now I know my value doesn’t come from approval or performance, just from who I am and how I show up. Letting go of that belief changed everything.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What will you regret not doing?
I’ll regret not fully backing myself when I know I’m meant for more.
Not taking the risks that scare me, not stepping into the rooms I belong in, and not using my voice and my creativity at their fullest. If I don’t bet on myself now, that’s the one thing I know I’d look back on with regret.
