Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Fredrianna Harris of Englewood

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Fredrianna Harris . Check out our conversation below.

Fredrianna, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What is a normal day like for you right now?
A Normal day for me right now looks so militant . Everything is calculated from the time I wake up until I finally am able to rest my head . The hard work that goes into being consistent makes my day begin with a 6:00 am workout . I go to take a shower after and head to work . I leave work , get my beautiful babies and when I’m home after a good meal , I work on my craft , or just do something that makes me feel good .

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am a creator poet artist soon to be author . My art form comes in many ways and right now , being an author , a writer just to express and move people has been my lane . I also am a rapper , and I enjoy creating visuals with my team that capture what I see in my head when I write . I am currently working on a book called the audacity to live , and an EP that I won’t disclose but will be very happy to release sometime in 2026 .

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
The moment I opened up my mouth and comforted my friends and staff members at my high school . A tragedy had struck Morgan Park . A classmate of mine , names Jade had died violently. No one had any words to say in that auditorium everyone was distraught . The parents and teachers couldn’t even make a word out . I spoke up and prayed over the entire school in a way that I still get chills from when I think about it . I knew I was powerful from that moment alone .

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
Thinking about what I could have done if I knew better . I always sometimes play things back and think like man , I missed that opportunity or I could have made this decision . I fight myself a lot with it when life doesn’t go my way . Somehow I fear that making the wrong mistake has permanently disfigured my destiny . I know it’s not true so I talk myself out of it often . I have been learning to let that fear go and live from a space of right now .

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What important truth do very few people agree with you on?
That you can manifest your destiny by being delusional . I personally believe you got to be crazy in order to manifest your dreams in this world . You must be relentless and not give up . Most people don’t agree , they feel they must acknowledge their current reality in order to go somewhere . I say screw it , I’m quantum jumping !!

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
That even though what I’m doing to get my goals accomplished seems extreme and don’t make sense to them , that I must and still will become who I am destined to be . Some people think I’m suppose to just be a rapper or this one version of. Myself forever , in order to truly fulfill my legacy. I have so many versions of myself I can pull out of my hat . Mama did what she had to do !!
