Good morning Holly, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
The ability to go out into nature and ground myself.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Working in the floral industry for 24 years, I have found the creative bug , but also found my passion is for landscape and animal photography. The ability to go out into nature and enjoy the beauty that is often overlooked, is where I came up with my business name. Through Another Eye Photography is a independently owned and ran photography business where I showcase the beauty this world has to offer by capturing moments, places or people that are often overlooked and under appreciated.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
My best friend Jon really helped me realize who I was. His ability to see the good in people was inspiring. Unfortunately he passed away suddenly and both his life and death has shaped me into who I am today.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
To stay strong in the face of everything trying to work against you.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My family, animals and fairness. I want people to be treated equally and with respect.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
Stressing and working so hard. I want to live a life that is worth remembering my name. You die twice in this world. Once when you physically pass, but another when people stop speaking your name. I want to leave a legacy and something people can appreciate for years after I pass.
