We recently had the chance to connect with Jarred Stanton and have shared our conversation below.
Jarred, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What are you chasing, and what would happen if you stopped?
I’m currently chasing a better future and to build generational wealth for myself/family. I’m also constantly pursuing a more intimate relationship with God which is always good. If I stopped doing either of those things, I wouldn’t be so driven every day
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Jarred Stanton, a Mobile, AL native that wants to reach higher heights. I work as a Wastewater Plant Supervisor at a the utility in my community. In my spare time I enjoying gaming, fishing, reading and whatever else I have the impulse to try. I am married with 2 children. My business ventures consist of being a Real Estate Agent and an author. Most of my day is figuring out new ways to grow and reach the goals I set out to achieve. Becoming a household name from the impact I have on my community and people around the world is a legacy I’d love to leave behind.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The part of me that felt obligated to put other’s wants/needs before my own even if it was to my own detriment. I grew to understand that by taking care of myself i would be taking care of everyone around me. I’ve had to release my silence.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
It taught me how powerful God was when I felt my most weak and vulnerable . Suffering through hard times showed me resilience is and will always be the only option. Once we hit rock bottom, we can only go up.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
I am who I am, that’s a yes
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If you laid down your name, role, and possessions—what would remain?
My natural instinct to learn any and everything of value. The little things in life that don’t cost anything but time. The love I have for my family and conviction to do the right things.
