Kristin, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What is a normal day like for you right now?
I’m usually jolted awake by my son’s giggles around 7:00 AM now that he’s a full-on toddler, so I start the day with him, grabbing his sippy cup of milk, and feeding him Cheerios or Crispix. While he plays independently, I review campaign insights and address any urgent client emails. By 10:30 AM, we’re back together for a little dance party or block-building on the play mat, then I settle him into the kitchen for a snack and another milk break while I batch or outline carousel copy for PRISM Ascend™.

After his 12:30 PM nap (usually closer to two hours these days), we head outdoors—whether it’s a walk around the block or throwing a football in the backyard—while I record voice-memo brainstorms for upcoming workshops. Once we’re home, it’s snack + milk time again, then I carve out a two-hour deep-work window to draft client proposals or script our next “Curated Perception Sessions” episode while. At 5:30 PM, I shift fully into mom mode—dinner, bath, storytime, and bedtime by 7:00 PM—and then I often take 30–45 minutes after he’s down to read up on my Harvard organizational behavior coursework followed by spending an hour with my husband before lights-out around 9:30 PM.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Kristin Marquet—an award-winning PR strategist, branding expert, and the founder of Marquet Media (soon-to-be Curated Perception™) and FemFounder®. Over the past 17 years, I’ve partnered with over 1,000 female-founded and high-growth brands—securing more than 9,000 media placements and 35 magazine covers—by teaching proprietary frameworks such as PRISM Ascend™, Dual Catalyst Visibility™, and Elevate Influence™. What makes my work unique is the way I fuse strategic communications, organizational psychology, and AI-driven data insights into every campaign, turning complex visibility challenges into clear, actionable roadmaps.

Today, I’m balancing life as a toddler mom in the NYC suburbs with my newest adventure: pursuing coursework in Organizational Behavior to deepen the science behind my frameworks. I’m currently spearheading the “Celebritypreneur Accelerator,” hosting the AI-powered FemFounder podcast, and launching The Money Daily platform—all designed to empower entrepreneurs to become the heroes of their own PR stories. My mission? To spark those “aha” moments in every client and community member, so they can confidently tell their story and achieve the kind of visibility that transforms both their business and their lives.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The part of me that equated rest with weakness—the “always-on,” all-or-nothing hustler who measured worth by my to-do list—has served me well in building a successful PR agency and countless digital products. It drove me through long nights of workshop prep, power‐walk brainstorms, and endless client sprints, but it also left me depleted, anxious, and sometimes blind to the quiet victories of everyday life.

It’s time to release that relentless workaholic wiring and make space for sustainable creativity, presence with my family, and the kind of slow, thoughtful innovation that doesn’t burn out on the way to breakthrough. Letting go of the “more, faster, harder” mantra frees me to design frameworks from a place of calm confidence, to nurture my toddler with genuine attention, and to approach each new project not as another checkbox, but as an opportunity to blend purpose, play, and profit in harmony.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
“I’d tell my younger self: you are already enough, exactly as you are—your curiosity, creativity, and even your anxieties are the very sparks that will light your biggest breakthroughs.” You don’t have to wait for the perfect moment, the ideal credentials, or a million-dollar launch to make an impact. Every detour, every “mistake,” and every quiet moment of doubt is actually part of your story and fuels the empathy and insight you’ll bring to clients and community. Trust your instincts, give yourself permission to rest, and know that your unique voice—flaws, all—will be the very thing that helps others find courage to tell their own stories.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
Absolutely. The version of me you see publicly—the frameworks I share, the behind-the-scenes glimpses on Reels, the wins and the vulnerabilities—is a conscious reflection of who I am at my core. I’ve built my personal brand on authenticity, so every case study, every “aha” moment, and even every snafu I share is grounded in real experience. My goal has always been to teach and lead from genuine insight, not from a polished façade.

That said, authenticity doesn’t mean total transparency. I choose what to share—my processes, my lessons, my values—while keeping certain private moments sacred, whether that’s family time with Bradford or the internal work that fuels my creativity. But the values that guide those private moments—curiosity, empathy, resilience—are exactly the ones I bring into the public sphere. In that sense, the public Kristin and the private Kristin are simply two sides of the same, very real coin.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. Are you tap dancing to work? Have you been that level of excited at any point in your career? If so, please tell us about those days. 
Absolutely—I’ve genuinely been “tap dancing” to work, and one of the most vivid memories was the morning after I learned we’d landed the cover story in Forbes Celebrity. I woke up at 5:30 AM, uncharacteristically giddy, and found myself literally dancing through my kitchen as I poured coffee. My mind was racing through all the press outreach I’d mapped out, the celebratory post I wanted to craft, and the brainstorm for how to leverage that cover into new speaking gigs. When I finally sat down at my desk, I was buzzing with energy—every email ping felt like a drumbeat in my own victory march. I couldn’t wait to share the news with my team, record a quick “behind-the-scenes” Reel, and start planning our next level of momentum.

Another day I’ll never forget was when our first Curated Perception Strategy™ workshop sold out in under 48 hours. I remember checking registrations on a sunny Wednesday afternoon—each new sign-up felt like a confetti pop. By the time my son took his nap, I was already drafting follow-up emails, sketching out bonus materials, and imagining the breakthroughs our participants would share. Getting to work that day felt less like a job and more like stepping onto a stage I’d built with my own two hands—and yes, I may have tap-danced straight from the car into the office. Those moments reminded me why I fell in love with this work in the first place: the thrill of creating something that moves people, again and again.
