We recently had the chance to connect with Margot Rodriguez and have shared our conversation below.
Good morning Margot, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day are all about family and self-care. I begin by waking my kids and helping them get ready for the day. Once they’re set, I prepare a healthy breakfast for the family while brewing a strong coffee just for me. After breakfast, I drop the kids off at their camps, and then I make sure to fit in my exercise. It’s a busy morning, but it sets a positive tone for the rest of my day!
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Margot Rodriguez, and I’m a passionate foodie! I’ve recently transitioned my branding to focus on recipe development, with a unique twist: I aim to transform everyday meals into healthy, non-toxic options. One of my goals is to show my followers that living a non-toxic lifestyle in the kitchen and at home is more accessible than they might think. Many people are unaware of the potential harm that everyday foods and kitchenware can cause. Right now, I’m working on new recipes and small, actionable steps to help everyone lead healthier and happier lives!
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I’ve always considered myself fortunate in that I never felt the need to conform to what the world expected of me. Instead, I’ve consistently chosen to follow my own path, dancing to the beat of my own drum.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
You’re doing great kid. Keep it up!
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
Everything is healthy, no-toxic and organic.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when I’m at our ranch in the hill country, surrounded our animals and by my wonderful little family.
