Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Meghan Rothschild of North End

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Meghan Rothschild. Check out our conversation below.

Good morning Meghan, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
On a good day, I let myself sleep until I naturally wake up. This has been a game changer for me! Then, I get some movement in: yoga, a walk, spin, or a weight class. Then I make myself a healthy breakfast, cleanup email and then get ready for the day.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I have nearly 20 years experience in Marketing, Public Relations, and public speaking, specializing in topics such as social media, marketing strategy, public relations, melanoma survivorship, and living with endometriosis. I own a full service Marketing & PR Firm, Chikmedia, focused on women entrepreneurs and women lead businesses. I have three furbabies with my husband of 11 years and love what I do!

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
I was very self-conscious as a kid, especially in my early teen years. That has gone out the door. There may be moments of self-doubt but I consider myself worthy these days.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Of course! As a business owner there are days where you are so ready to throw in the towel. I recently reevaluated my company and restructured in a way that finally prioritized me and my needs. Sometimes you need to pivot, or at the very least pause and reflect.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Loyalty, transparency and communication. Most problems can be solved by being open and honest about how you feel.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
I think… my social media content. I am a real sassy person online and I make some fun and controversial videos. I think people would wonder where I had gone!

Carey Selk A significant wound in my life I moved through was trusting my intuition.
