We’re looking forward to introducing you to Nikki DeLuca. Check out our conversation below.
Nikki, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What is a normal day like for you right now?
My days start early because I love having time before the world gets loud. I usually head straight to the gym or a class I am teaching. Movement centers me and sets the tone. After training I dive into planning content, checking in with clients, and managing upcoming events. Afternoons are often meetings, creative work, or calls with partners. I try to wrap the day with something social, whether that is a dinner, a class with friends, or time with my family. Every day looks different but fitness and connection are always in it.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am Nikki DeLuca, a trainer, coach, and event creator based in Miami. My brand blends fitness, lifestyle, and community. You can train with me in classes at Lifetime Fitness, join me at special events like Sweat for Survivors, or follow along on social where I share workouts, wellness tips, and behind the scenes of building this brand. What makes it special is that I combine training with experiences that bring people together. Fitness is the anchor but connection is the heart of it.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
I was a kid who loved being active. The first time I competed in a sport and realized my body could carry me faster, stronger, and longer than I expected, I felt powerful. That feeling of using strength and discipline to achieve something has never left me. It is what fitness still gives me and what I try to share with others.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes. Building a brand and a business in fitness is not simple. There were moments when the pressure of showing up every day while balancing real life felt like too much. I questioned myself and whether I was capable. What kept me going was remembering the women and men who trusted me to guide them. Their results, their gratitude, and their belief in me pushed me to keep building even when I was tired.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
They would say I care about loyalty, health, and fun. I take my goals seriously but I never want to lose the joy that comes from training together, eating well, laughing, and creating experiences. They know I am driven but they also know I will always show up to celebrate with them. Balance matters to me and so does being real about it.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope they say I inspired them to believe in themselves. That I showed them fitness is not about punishment but about building confidence, strength, and joy. I hope they remember me as someone who worked hard, loved her people, and made spaces where others felt welcome and supported.
