Nyiko Rikhotso shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Nyiko , it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: Are you walking a path—or wandering?
At Freezy World, I’m not wandering—I’m walking a clearly defined path with purpose and direction. From the beginning, my vision has been to build more than just a brand; I’m building a global movement that connects, entertains, and empowers a new generation of digital consumers.
Today, Freezy World has already reached and engaged over 2 million people, which shows the strength of our message and community. The next step on this path is scaling globally through strategic collaborations, content localization, and technology-driven engagement—using data insights to understand what resonates across different markets while maintaining the authentic Freezy World identity.
My focus is on sustainability, innovation, and meaningful impact—ensuring that as we grow, we don’t just gain numbers, but deepen relationships with our audience. The path I’m walking is one of intentional growth, creative leadership, and global influence. Every move is aligned with a long-term vision: making Freezy World a household name that inspires and entertains worldwide.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Nyiko Rikhotso, and I’m the founder of Freezy World — a creative lifestyle and digital movement that has engaged over 2 million people globally. What makes Freezy World unique is its fusion of culture, creativity, and digital innovation, bringing people together through authentic storytelling and bold self-expression.
I started Freezy World with a clear vision: to build a global platform where individuality is celebrated and creativity knows no boundaries. What began as a small idea has grown into a brand that inspires people to live freely, think differently, and be part of a community driven by purpose and creativity.
Right now, I’m focused on scaling Freezy World to a global audience — expanding our digital footprint, developing creative collaborations, and crafting experiences that merge fashion, art, and technology. At its heart, Freezy World is more than a brand — it’s a movement that empowers a generation to dream louder and live authentically.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Before the world told me who I had to be, I was simply a creator — someone who loved building, innovating, and finding smarter ways to connect people through technology. I’ve always been a professional web developer and digital marketing specialist at heart.
I had the opportunity to work with Vittaprime.uk, a UK-based brand, where I managed and scaled their Performance Max, Standard Shopping, and Search campaigns. That experience taught me how data-driven creativity can transform a brand’s reach and impact.
Those years shaped my foundation — not just in digital strategy, but in understanding how powerful storytelling, design, and marketing can be when they work together. It’s that same foundation that inspired me to build Freezy World — where I could blend creativity and technology to create something truly global and meaningful.
When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
I stopped hiding my pain and started using it as power the moment I realized that my struggles were actually my story. For a long time, I kept my challenges private — thinking that vulnerability was weakness. But as I grew personally and professionally, I saw how sharing my journey and channeling that energy into my work inspired others and set me apart.
That shift happened when I began building Freezy World. Instead of letting setbacks hold me back, I used them as lessons and fuel to push harder, think bigger, and create something meaningful. My pain became my power the moment I decided to transform it into purpose — to build a brand and movement that shows others they can do the same.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that what really matters to me is impact — making a difference in people’s lives through creativity, innovation, and authenticity. They know I care deeply about building things that last, whether it’s relationships, ideas, or brands.
They’d also tell you that I value growth and freedom — not just for myself, but for the people around me. That’s why Freezy World isn’t just a brand to me; it’s a platform for self-expression, community, and empowerment. At my core, what matters most is leaving people and places better than I found them.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
If I knew I had 10 years left, I’d stop doubting myself and holding back my ideas out of fear of failure or timing. I’d stop giving energy to things that don’t align with my purpose or bring me peace.
Life is short, and I’ve learned that every moment spent hesitating is a moment lost. I’d focus completely on creating, inspiring, and building — pouring everything into Freezy World and the people who believe in it. I’d live with intention, not perfection — doing more of what fulfills me and none of what drains me.
