Olyvia , really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Outside of my work, I find joy in creating meaningful experiences within my community. Through The Phoenix, I love taking part in playful and uplifting activities like water balloon fights, affirmation workshops, and full moon releases.
With the Rising Phoenix Spiritualist Church, I participate in healing circles, offer readings for intuitive healing, and facilitate spiritual business alchemy classes—blending spirituality with media to help others align their growth with creative expression.
Another source of joy for me is interviewing beautiful souls with authentic stories through my growing platform, LYView. As I inspire them, I inspire myself, and I truly believe that the best way to learn is to teach. How do you live your view?

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
A moment that profoundly shaped how I see the world was the sudden transition of my twin sister at 25. We shared a deep creative connection and understood each other in ways few others could, and while our relationship could get a little spicy at times, the love and understanding ran even deeper. Her passing shook my reality and, for a time, froze my sense of self and the world around me.
In the years since, I’ve been on a path of healing, expanding, and learning to navigate life with greater discernment. This experience has given me a deeper appreciation for creative collaboration and connection, allowing me to approach it with a sense of presence, fulfillment, and reverence.

When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
I feel like I stopped hiding my pain before, but now is when I’m truly implementing that shift. No more excuses—just accountability. I’m learning to navigate with diligence, focus, and consistency, even when situations leave behind a residue of emptiness and pain.
The best way I’ve found to alchemize those feelings is through creative projects, and that’s why I’m so excited to already be expanding into the world of film and creative direction. It’s a path that allows me to transform pain into vision, and vision into power.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
I admire Kevin, a recent colleague who asked me to be a second shooter on a Wedding. He truly showed me how true collaboration is done with an open heart. no competition. This impacted me in a very supportive and healing way, outside of survival, gatekeeping and scarcity. he even paid me extra for the event . Connected all of us with the wedding client, shared equipment, allowed me to flow without pressure. the feeling was new to me. This is how it is of our highest good to collaborate. He was just being himself and I expressed gratitude, he might now even know how big of an impact he made for me which is also humbling!

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
It’s not only about the direct service, it’s about the experience, inspiration, the connection and the impact you make in another’s life. Each stepping stone of presence during the journey.
