Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Pia Isabel Rössle

We recently had the chance to connect with Pia Isabel Rössle and have shared our conversation below.

Pia Isabel , really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What do you think others are secretly struggling with—but never say?
I believe that people today are suffering from a collective perfectionism craze.
We try to excel in various roles and, in doing so, fall into the trap of needing to please.
We see what’s possible on social media and try to emulate it.
But in doing so, we completely overlook the following:

Shouldn’t we rather find that one thing we are truly here for?
The thing that fully ignites our inner fire?

Don’t we admire people who have devoted themselves entirely to that one thing?
Singers, actors, athletes, activists, and other public figures?
Often, we hear that they failed in certain life roles because they gave their full attention to that one pursuit.
They surrendered to it completely.
And that made them virtuosic — even immortal.

We allow ourselves far too rarely to be just as relentless, radical, and uncompromising when it comes to honoring our soul’s mission.
And it could be so liberating.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My business partner, Dr. Stefan Frädrich, our 35-person “Reality Upgrade” team and I have set ourselves the goal of establishing holistic and alternative healing methods in the world — especially consciousness-expanding experiences (psychedelics).
We aim to educate the public and make these tools accessible to the wider population.
Another major focus is reaching leadership levels in society — to offer those shaping our world new, more meaningful pathways.

At Reality Upgrade we also train individuals to become psychedelic guides and coaches.
Our retreats take place in the Netherlands, Mexico, and on Richard Branson’s private island in the Caribbean.

Our second major passion is longevity.
In addition to Reality Upgrade, Stefan and I co-founded Qvantum Health together with other visionary biohackers and medical doctors.
We believe that healthy and graceful aging is no longer something to leave to chance. Science has made huge strides — and we are committed to spreading this knowledge globally.

We are currently developing a network business model that enables anyone to participate in the megatrend of longevity — and potentially achieve financial freedom through it.
Our AI technology will make distribution and outreach radically easier.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
At the age of 22, I was granted the profound experience of a bliss state that lasted nearly four months.
It marked my spiritual awakening into the cosmic reality.
There was no fear — only love. A deep sense of connection to all energies, in full awareness.
I experienced inner peace and had access to the vast information embedded in the collective field.

For four months, I lived in a state of enlightenment, including the ability to facilitate healing in others.
After this time, nothing was ever the same. I changed my field of study and went on to establish a retreat center in the South of France.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering is always self-created. We are always the beginning and the end of everything that happens to us. Those who understand this step into their true creative power. This is the message I was able to take from my own suffering. The book “A Course in Miracles” supported me on this path.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
Pretending to be someone else for the sake of others—no matter who they are or what kind of audience you’re trying to please—must be the greatest prison one can fall into. I can only be myself, because if I’m not, I lose too much valuable energy. And I want to use that energy for my highest goal: to feel joy!

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I can say with 100% conviction that I am professionally doing exactly what I was born for. According to people with extrasensory abilities, I have worked as a medicine woman and spiritual teacher in past lives as well. Whether past lives or parallel lives—that remains a fascinating question. The existence of parallel lives to our current one has already been revealed to me during substance journeys. In any case, I embody what I am through my profession. I honestly can’t picture it any other way.
