Rachael, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
Every morning I wake up around 5am without an alarm clock. I thank God for a new day, Pray and do some reading. I normally talk to my mom while I am checking emails and social media.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am a Certified Financial Education Instructor and Founder of Missing Peace Financial Group. I am a Best Selling Author and an Award Winning Speaker. I was awarded National Financial Educator of the year for 2025 by the National Financial Educators Council. For 12 years I have been a personal finance coach and educator for kids, teens and adults. I cover a wide range of topics for all ages such as banking, budgeting, credit, investing, entrepreneurship and more!

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
Being an overachiever has served me in the past because it has helped me become successful in multiple areas but it is also comes from being a perfectionist. In this new season of life, I do not want to be driven by a fear of failure or wanting to please others.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
That failure is not the end of the world. When I get back up, I am not starting from scratch but starting from experience. Through suffering I learned how strong and resilient I really am .

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, I was always taught to just be myself and I encourage others to do the same. Many of my clients and students are people who have known me for years. They see me out in random places just living life and the energy is always the same. They have watched me evolve, let my hair down, fail and succeed.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
The fun, loving environment I create in my classes and sessions. The judgement free zone that allows people to get comfortable enough to get the real help they need to improve their relationship with money.
