We’re looking forward to introducing you to Star Stone. Check out our conversation below.
Good morning Star , we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
Ecstatic Dance and Jam Sessions(song circles/singing/performing)
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My teachers.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes- after going viral in a YouTube video in 2019(to over 17 million views!)- I struggled with the negative comments- it greatly impacted my mental health, my identity and relationships. I was stuck in a freeze state emotionally and energetically for the next 5 years- moving through life outwardly very driven and goal oriented as well as creative, but my mental health and overall sense of well-being suffered. After writing a show about my experience (Villain Era), I started to really heal and its interesting because sometimes you don’t even realize how disconnected you truly are from your self until you break free and look back. This was a very difficult time, but because I had already undergone deep work in my survivorship I believed in my resilience, I stayed true to myself and I kept going.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Play! being embodied/movement and being able to be in community and express and exchange ideas.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
Pain is something to be felt, to be held, to honor, to get curious about, not something to be embarassed or ashamed of- when I was in deep grief, and anger/hurt, the mistake I made was that I did not get curious about it- in fact, I couldn’t even feel that I was in pain- I had numbness- whats my emotions came back online, it was a gift, an opportunity to befriend it- once that happen, it moved- it left, and healing began.
