We recently had the chance to connect with Thies gUDINO and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Thies, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: Would YOU hire you? Why or why not?
I would hire me because I bring more than skill to the table. I bring passion, consistency, and genuine care for every client and every project. I love what I do, and it shows in the way I problem‑solve, and take ownership of the work. My clients never feel like just another task on a to‑do list; they feel supported, prioritized, and understood.
I’m reliable, proactive, and detail‑oriented, but also flexible enough to pivot when something changes, because in business, it always does. What truly sets me apart is that I don’t just complete tasks. I anticipate needs, build systems, and create peace of mind. I’m invested in helping my clients win.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Thies, owner and founder of Thies Virtual Suite. I specialize in helping Wedding and Event Planners streamline their businesses, manage their time, and focus on growth while I handle the behind-the-scenes work that keeps everything running smoothly.
My services include administrative support, systems setup and management (Honeybook, Dubsado, ClickUp, Aisle Planner), and website revamps, all designed to make your business more efficient and stress-free.
I chose to work with wedding planners because I understand the unique challenges of this industry—the fast pace, attention to detail, and the importance of flawless execution. I don’t just complete tasks; I bring heart, strategy, and proactive problem-solving to every project. I treat my clients’ businesses like they’re my own, anticipating needs, building systems, and making sure they feel fully supported at every stage.
My brand is built on integrity, consistency, honesty, and transparency. and ‘m focused on growing to reach more clients who want a dedicated partner in business, and continuing to show that having a strong support system isn’t a luxury, it’s essential. I love what I do, and helping others succeed is what keeps me inspired every day.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
The relationship that most shaped how I see myself is with my sister, Chrissy Williams. She has always pushed me to be a better version of myself, encouraging me to aim higher, stay focused, and make decisions that align with my goals. Chrissy’s guidance and unwavering belief in me have shown me the power of support, accountability, and determination. Because of her, I approach life and work with confidence, discipline, and a mindset that I can achieve whatever I set out to do.
What fear has held you back the most in your life?
The fear that has held me back the most in my life is the fear of not being good enough. I’ve often questioned whether my skills, my ideas, or even my efforts would measure up. But over time, I’ve realized that perfection isn’t the goal, growth and impact are. Embracing that mindset has allowed me to step into opportunities, trust my abilities, and show up fully, even when the outcome isn’t guaranteed. Every time I push past that fear, I’m reminded that being “good enough” isn’t about comparison; it’s about showing up and giving my best.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Absolutely! The professionalism, the confidence, the passion for supporting others and that’s exactly who I am behind the scenes too. I don’t put on a persona to impress anyone. I genuinely love what I do, and that comes through whether I’m posting online, or working quietly at my laptop at 2 a.m. to make sure everything is perfect.
The real difference is that publicly you might see the polished results, but privately you’d also see the dedication, the discipline, and the heart I put into every client and every project. The energy is the same; the world just gets to see the finished product.
So yes, the public version of me is the real me, just with a little extra lip gloss and lighting.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when I see everything falling into place, when systems run smoothly, tasks are handled, and my clients can focus on their vision without stress. There’s a deep satisfaction in knowing that my behind-the-scenes work is making someone else’s life easier. Beyond work, I also feel most at peace when I’m in quiet moments of reflection, maybe with a cup of coffee in hand, planning my next steps, or enjoying nature. It’s when I can recharge and reconnect with what inspires me.
