Liz Hahn’s Stories, Lessons & Insights

Liz Hahn shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Liz, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: Who are you learning from right now?
I’m currently learning through Pinnacle Global Network, a business mentoring community led by Allison Maslan, who actually coached me earlier in my career. Pinnacle brings together several hundred CEOs who are all focused on scaling from six to nine figures, and the level of shared experience in the group is incredible.

Being part of this community has given me invaluable insights from both the mentors and my fellow CEOs. In the past few years, I’ve doubled my team, doubled profits, and scaled my nationwide entertainment agency while staying profitable and keeping myself on payroll. It’s been a really empowering experience, and a meaningful full-circle moment to learn from Allison and her team again.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m the Founder and CEO of Bad Boy Strip, a premier bachelorette and private-party entertainment agency known for creating unforgettable, fully customized experiences. I’ve spent more than 30 years in the entertainment industry, and my passion has always been bringing people together through high-energy, playful, and joy-filled events.

At Bad Boy Strip, we specialize in turning ordinary nights into extraordinary memories. Whether it’s a bachelorette party, a birthday celebration, a themed mansion event, or a coed holiday bash, our team of top-tier male performers, charismatic bartenders, and cheeky cabana boys brings the fantasy to life.

What truly sets us apart is our interactive booking process. When clients reach out, they receive a curated portfolio of available Bad Boys, allowing them to handpick their favorite entertainers, choose the “spice level,” and tailor themed costumes, whether it’s Sexy Cops, Naughty Firefighters, Cowboy Studs, Construction Workers, or even the classic Sexy Pizza Delivery Guy. Every event is designed with intention, personality, and just the right amount of naughty.

I’m currently expanding the brand, refining our client experience, and continually elevating the standard for premium party entertainment nationwide.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
One of my earliest memories of feeling powerful goes back to the 1990s, when I launched my first entertainment business. I was putting myself through college at the time, and I began hiring my friends as bouncers, dancers, DJs, and marketers. I had nothing more than a brand idea, a pager, and a list of phone numbers, but I felt completely in control and confident in my ability to make things happen.

Because this was before websites or social media, I had to build everything through real-world hustle: networking, forming partnerships, and building trust face-to-face. Instead of diminishing my sense of power, that collaboration actually strengthened it. There’s something incredibly empowering about creating something from nothing, leading a team, and watching everyone grow together.

That experience taught me early on that true power comes from taking action, staying persistent, and believing unapologetically in your vision.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
There was a time I truly gave up.

I started my brand to put myself through college, but after graduating on the Dean’s List, I felt a huge amount of pressure to “get a real job.” I had spent years studying, and it seemed like the natural next step was to enter corporate America. So I applied for jobs, and that was when I realized something unexpected: I was completely unemployable.

I kept asking myself if this was really what I was supposed to be doing. Deep down, I knew I already had a career. I just didn’t yet see it as one. Still, I walked away from my brand and tried to fit myself into the corporate world. That led me to start a new business in the wholesale mortgage industry, recruiting mortgage reps and building a company from the ground up.

What surprised me was how similar the mortgage world felt to entertainment. The personalities, the energy, the challenges, the successes, and the frustrations were all familiar. It made me realize that the industry was never the point. The human element was the thread that connected everything.

Eventually, I sold that business and returned to my real passion: my Bad Girl Productions brand. This time, I came back with a stronger foundation in leadership, sales, and business strategy. I rebuilt the brand with structure and scalability in mind and grew it into the million-dollar company it is today. From there, I expanded with Bad Boy Strip, which has become equally successful.

What once felt like giving up was actually the reset I needed in order to come back with more clarity, experience, and power.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I am deeply committed to empowering and supporting entertainers in the adult entertainment industry. This work is more than a business or a brand to me; it is my passion and my purpose. I strive to help entertainers see themselves as entrepreneurs, teaching them how to invest their money, care for their bodies, strengthen their mindset, and show up in the world as confident, grounded individuals.

The adult entertainment world is full of fascinating, complex people, and I choose to operate at a higher standard within it. My company is built on quality, integrity, and respect. Many of our entertainers pursue their craft with purpose; they are working their way through college, completing double master’s or doctoral degrees, supporting families, and funding their dreams.

I firmly believe that when you elevate the people within an industry, you elevate the entire industry itself. This mission is something I am committed to for as long as it takes.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I know without a doubt that I am doing what I was born to do. My purpose is to understand people, see the depths of society, and find ways to empower others. I was born to build, to connect, and to create opportunities through business. My focus has always been on connection. When a customer is looking for a dancer or a dancer is looking for work, I bring them together. That is where my energy and skill come alive.

If I had followed what I was told to do, I would be living someone else’s story. People told me I would never graduate high school, that college was not for me, and that I should go to trade school. I tried some of those paths. I became a certified auto mechanic, a cosmetologist, and even a preschool teacher. While I respect those choices, none of them inspired me. I left beauty school because I knew I was meant for something bigger.

Now, I am fully in my purpose. I’ve built a career that merges business and entertainment in a way that empowers others and creates real opportunity. I’m no longer following someone else’s rules. I’m building my own story and helping others rise along the way.
