Mario Loor of Catskills on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Mario Loor. Check out our conversation below.

Mario, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
basketball

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Mario Loor. I am an independent artist based in New York. I have a new album coming out called Horse. It was written before and after a 6 month long road trip across the country.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
recently took a 6 month trip across the country. I wrote about it on my new record

no I had half the record finished before I left. I knew the songs needed some time and a clear mind to finish so I didn’t pick back up on it until I got to New York.

certainly and this new record proves it

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. When do you feel most at peace?
when I am looking out at the mountains on an October afternoon listening to records and knowing my new one will be yours very soon
