Communication skills are invaluable. During the time I was in management, I learned to listen intently to my employees. Great communicated always have good listening skills. Additionally, I looked for non verbal cues that were being given. If I didn’t understand what the person was saying, I paraphrased the content to make sure that we were on the same page.
