It’s a cliché, but I think it all starts with listening. Listening to understand and not to respond. We’ve all been in conversations that feel canned or like a setup to socially perform in some way. I possess a fearless sense of honesty, together with a genuine interest and curiosity about people, which generally facilitates communication.
