Hi 107Flatline, great to have you with us today and excited to have you share your wisdom with our readers. Over the years, after speaking with countless do-ers, makers, builders, entrepreneurs, artists and more we’ve noticed that the ability to take risks is central to almost all stories of triumph and so we’re really interested in hearing about your journey with risk and how you developed your risk-taking ability.

I grew up in a rough part of Atlanta, Ga. My family never had it easy, so I had get out into world at an early age. I learned to take risk to able to make sure my family survived through our struggles. I also learned early that*if you don’t work, you don’t eat”. That fueled my fire and drive to go for everything I deserve.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Born and raised in ATLANTA,GA 107Flatline is a unique and hardworking product of the streets of Decatur. Glenwood Rd. set the tone and foundation on how 107Flatline would one day share his story and experiences. Although he discovered his love for music as a teenager listening to Tupac, it wasn’t until 2018 that he started to take his craft seriously. Since then 107Flatline has worked relentlessly and has recorded 2 mixtapes and a ep. With over 20 songs recorded. 107Flatline is ready to share his unique experiences and the way he expresses his experiences with the world

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

A few years into my musical journey I started discovering computer science. At first it was difficult and seemed like I was reading a foreign language. But I was so intrigued that I erased all the doubts and focused on teaching myself to understand how it all worked. I grew up listening to to all kinds of music and that influenced me to have a open mind. My passion for song writing and creating stories helped translate into reading and doing a lot of research. I believe these things molded my creativity and thirst for keeping myself informed. Doing research keeps me on top of my crafts. The best advice I could give would be to make sure you understand all aspects of what your dream is in order to master it. Gaining all knowledge in your dream sustains confidence so that you will never have the feeling of giving up.

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?

Two of the biggest opportunities I ve received in the past 12 months would be pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and signing to Totalaxxess Ent.
