We were lucky to catch up with 360 Film Group recently and have shared our conversation below.

360 , thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us today. We’re excited to dive into your story and your work, but first let’s start with a broader topic that might be stopping many of our readers from pursuing their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. How have you managed to persist despite haters and nay-sayers that inevitably follow folks who are doing something unique, special or off the beaten path?
We know that art is subjective and not everyone is gonna like your work. And that ok with us. But people’s opinions have never been what made us & won’t break us.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
360 Film Group is an indie film company based out of Houston Tx. founded by writers, directors, producers Trevor Ford and Chris Davison. We released our 1st full length featured film “Brick City” in 2019. To date we’ve released 6 featured films along with numerous short films, commercials and music videos. We made history by being the 1st independent film company to premiere a film “Wes Diego” (2023) at NRG stadium in Houston.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
We’ve never attended film school but we had a passion for filmmaking so we made a movie. Then we made another and a few more after that. And with streaming sites,this is truly a master of your own destiny type of industry for indie filmmakers. I think our two biggest obstacles have been securing funding for projects and navigating shady distribution deals.

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
I think our biggest area of growth has been paying attention to the constructive feedback we receive from our films. Each project is a chance to go farther and push the boundaries of what we can do and bring to the audience.
