Meet Aaron Davis

We were lucky to catch up with Aaron Davis recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Aaron, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

You may know more than me! But, you’ll never out work me! I was raised by my Great Grandmother(Bema) from England and my mother. My twin brother and I had no choice but to start working early to help out around the house and to help take care of my Bema! She was from London and came here after WW2 on the Queen Mary and started with nothing here in America. She showed me to go after everything you dream of and don’t stop chasing it! Hearing her stories of life and her accomplishments made a major impact on my work ethic. My Step Father CJ was the 2nd most important person to show me how to get up everyday and go to work! CJ would be at work at his first job at 6am then off, changed, and on to his 2nd job until midnight, and he would do it everyday! Just seeing him get up everyday and bust his tail to provide for us with the biggest smile on his face proved to me that I was capable of accomplishing anything! Between the both of them, I’m proud to say my work ethic can’t be beat!

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I’m from Hampton, Virginia; Buckroe to be exact. I have lived in Colorado for almost 10 years. I was raised by my great grandmother(Bema) and mom with my twin brother! I eventually got caught up into the street life and got myself into trouble(A LOT). Once I had a kid and my Great grandmother passed, I left the gang life alone and started focusing more on being a dad and finding myself! I met my wife by then and shortly after, my first son was born. We got married and moved to CO! Our daughter was born and we moved back to VA to try and fight for visitation of my fist born. After losing and overcoming addiction, while almost losing my family, I got myself clean and we moved back to Colorado shortly after. Once I was sober and of clear mind, I began my spiritual journey and it guided me to start speaking my story to people to try and help someone on their journey! I Started MerkabaGenetics as a Medical Marijuana strain company after learning everything from my sensei, Brendon, over at “GenerationNewBreed Genetics”! I started this company to help my uncle with mild Parkinson’s and other people with neurological struggles! So far, he is doing better and the business is taking off! After creating that company and helping people, the idea for “TRUST THE PROCESS” Clothing Line came to me. I’m huge into ancient Egyptian history and Ancient History of the world so the logo comes from that! The message comes from me not giving up on what I truly believed in and deserved. I’ve fought to see my daughter Anessa since she was born and she is now almost 13 and we have a great relationship. I have a beautiful family in a great community. My wife and kids are all happy and healthy. I never gave up through all of my obstacles whether I put them there or not! As long as you Trust The Process in Everything you’re going to do, the Universe will hold you down on the rest! TTP!!!! We are based in Colorado but nationwide. As the company is up and coming, a website will be up and running soon! We are always at the local events in Denver and Colorado Springs!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Perseverance would be the first to come to mind, as I’ve overcome addiction and the many challenges life has handed me.
Studying the ancient philosophy from Asia, India, and Africa helped open my eyes to our true potential as human beings.
Getting into Meditation and the study of frequencies and vibrations, and how they impact us on a daily basis, was a crucial tool to use; meditation helped me realize the problems I was facing on the outside were a direct result from the internal problems I was overlooking or intentionally burying! Once we choose to accept the past, we get to enjoy the Present and then may we be able to set ourselves up right for the future!

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?

My Wife Nicole! Through everything that I’ve gone through, and put myself through, since my first child was born and my Great Grandmother passed away, she has always been by my side. Even when she had every right to leave! She continues to push me and guide me to being the great father and husband I am today! Whenever I felt like giving up, or if things got too hard and overwhelming, she was right there to push me forward and remind me of my process and purpose! There would be no “Trust The Process” Clothing line without my best friend and partner in crime! My Twin brother Eric and good friend Brendon are major components to my success! From planning businesses to checking me when needed! My team is always guiding each other to flourish and succeed!
