Meet Aaron Jordan Jr.

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Aaron Jordan Jr. a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Aaron , we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
My confidence came from all the no’s I received over the year’s. Adapting to art of proving the naysayers wrong. But then a shift came when I didn’t care what the naysayers was saying, I begun to care more about changing the meaning on my last name.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
Aaron T. Jordan Jr., known to many as “Mr. Know Your Worth” is an American Award-Winning Author, Radio Personality, Speaker, Relationship Coach, and Philanthropist. He is the founder/host of the Know Your Worth Radio Show that sunset in April 2017.

I am also the author of the books entitled “The Power Within, A Woman’s Worth: From Both Sexes” which was published in July of 2014 and “The Dating Devotional: 30 Day Guide to Revamp your Thoughts on Dating” which is on schedule to be released Summer 2024.

In the 4th quarter of 2019, I got my start in television with my very own TV Show “Cafe Conversations with Mr. Know Your Worth” which premiered March 2020. “I think back on a vision that I had about 15 years ago when I was praying and asking God to help me see my purpose in life; he stated that I will impact the lives of millions of people through inspiration. But, I would have to go through somethings in order for that to manifest.”

This reigns true as we fast forward to the present, I currently have full ownership of my TV Show catalog, which has been broadcast in the homes of over 1.5 million households across the Middle TN market on Xfinity Comcast and Dish Network cable platforms and during this time it was rebroadcast Live across Roku streaming platform where over 50 million active monthly subscribers will have access during the rebroadcast launch.

2023, TV Show has moved to the YouTube Worldwide platform which has spread and garnered new viewership by the hundreds of thousands. We are looking at some amazing things to take place in 2024, one of the books that I have written is now slated for a movie which is currently in preproduction. More to come on that.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Three things most important and impactful for me on this journey thus far has been: Patience, Consistency, and Discipline.

Oftentimes when we are working to execute a plan or vision we focus so much on the speed to the end result that we loose sight of the process in between. Simply because we want things to happen now. Enjoy what the process teaches you. An overnight success is 10-15 years in the making. Remember that!

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
Bishop TD Jake’s book SOAR, is a very impactful book with a plethora of gems and nuggets that will change the trajectory of where you are going and the execution of your plans.

His reference in that book about the giraffe and the turtle was so impactful. He stated, the giraffe and turtle can be standing in the same place but in two different worlds and have two different perspectives/visions. A giraffe will never lower his head down to level of where the turtle is because of his make up and design.

When you are in a position of greatness and in a position to manifest your goals, there will always be turtles in your life that will try to bring you down to their altitude and level of thinking. But you are on a different level and everyone can’t handle the level you are at. Stay focus
